Seriously? I think I would be pretty upset if that happened at a Casino.

What did they do, anything?

In the old days that would have led to a few Derringers being pulled, lol.

I think the floor did not do this properly at the time. Two hands went to show down which is how they found out about 5 9's. They basically split the pot between the two players who went to showdown. I think they should have voided the hand and refunded all the money from players who put money in the pot. I was too inexperienced at the time and didn't really know what should have been done.

Could someone please tell me what options are available for Depositing funds on Minted for US players?

I see western union but was wondering if they accept the Visa Gift Cards like UB and FT used to take?

Thx in advance

They accept Pic Club, Visa, Western Union, and Wire Transfer for US players.

The Visa Gift cards were always a hit and miss on UB and FT. I would imagine it is the same on Minted as well.

Your best bet is to use Western Union so that you can Cashout by Western Union. WU Cashouts are free and they take less than 3 days=Best option available for US players.

Yeh..Western Union will get the fund into your account almost immediately. I think they accept VISA cards but you would need to go through verification process.

Only thing that looks really bad is the card size. They are way to small.

Thanks for all the responses.

With the WU, isn't the minimum amount to deposit $100.00? That's the reason I was asking about the Visa Cards.

I could always get a $25-50 Visa Gift card and run my BR up like that. I have only used WU in the past for withdrawls. (Big amounts)

And with Minted, how are the tourneys there? Are the tourney players real fishy? Do structures and or payouts really suck?

Reason I'm asking is becuz I only play MTT and SNG's online and leave cash for live play.

Not too many tourneys and sngs take a long time to fill. If you like bingo rebuy tourneys you are in luck. The biggest tourney I have seen is the 3k weekend rebuy.

On the plus side Minted has really good support and always take care of their players. Never any problems with regard to cashouts which take 24 hours and bonuses. If you cash out you still get to keep bonus unlike another site which abolishes the bonus as soon as you cash out. If you deposit western union , you can cash out western union which is a big plus as you get your money within 2 buisness days which you can't beat.

Neil,
Playing tonight 8-16-11 8:30 PM EST, flopped a full house, slow played to build up the pot. Went all-in on the river screen (table) froze then started a new hand. My stack remained the same, didn't win didn't lose. The hand just disappeared. I believe I've read other posts about this happening. What's going on. I need to have this answered if I'm going to continue to play at Minted Poker. Thanks Neil for a great Minted Poker forum I'm looking forward to your reply.

Happen to me earlier tonight with aa. Then also happened a couple more times about an hour ago but it happened in-between hands. You'll notice it say refreshing table information in chat when it happens. Like the software loses connection with server or something. Please email support. Also look at last page to see my post about it

Can this be done through an online Western Union account?

Also if I deposit via CC what are my withdraw options in the US?

What's the average wait time for cashout via wire transfer for US residents? If it's fairly long, is it possible to keep receiving WU withdrawals while a wire transfer is pending? Thanks.

and yes I do believe you can withdraw via WU while a bank wire is pending but I'm not 100%. I'd email support or Neil for an answer.

Neil,

Can you please talk to Everleaf and make a case for lowering HU rake to FTP/Stars standards? Having a $1 cap rather than .50c makes beating anything below NL50 really tough and I think it would create more action.

This is only the $ tables I'm tal3king about too. If you can get them to lower the absurd HU rake at the Euro tables, I truly believe a lot more people will play the Euro HU tables and ELG/Minted will in turn generate more revenue as a whole, rather than the way it is. As is, they are unplayable which is a shame because it splits an already shallow player base.

Thank you.
