Hello,

I have been going back and forth with Merge for about 2 weeks about verifying my account.

I have sent them the required documents in JPEG, PDF, and now PNG. The documents are readable to the point where I feel a blind man could read them.

I continue to get a standard copy/paste response asking for the documents again and again in better quality.

They have received them but keep beating around the bush. I honestly just want my $ and don't know what to do now.

Has anyone had this issue and if so how was it resolved ?

They might be microscopic in size when they are opened by merge due to the way you are sending them.

Also, did you use a scanner or camera/iphone? Sometimes you know what is meant to be on the document so they will look much more clear to you than to someone seeing them and trying to make out the details.

Best thing is to not compress them and have the files sent as .jpgs (should be ~1MB in size each). Send them in individual emails to the site and make sure they are aware that they are receiving X emails with different docs in each.

I scanned them on a Very powerful Xerox and made sure they got the original size.

I've sent it in JPEG then PDF and now PNG. I'm very frustrated now with their support. It takes them 2-3 days just to send these copy/paste responses.

They've now accepted my bank statement and my credit card copy (with blacked out information) they keep saying the drivers license is not readable but its the same size as the credit card so no reason to be any different.

what did you black out on your cc?

I am in the same process as you. Withdrew last month, now i have to send more 'identification' in addition to the phone bill ive sent

I blacked out the 1st 4 and 3rd 4 numbers and the cvc number (not sure if thats what called) on the back and they took mine.

It's best to block out the 7th - 12th numbers on ur CC If you don't want to show your whole number (basically leave the first 6 and last 4 digits visible, blocking out the middle ones). The first 6 is the BIN and most sites will see your last 4 digits in their backend anyway.

Def a good idea to block out the CCV.

Also, a lot of bank statements will have your CC number in a "code" like your passport details are contained in the MRZ at the bottom of the page.

Yeah I blacked out the middle #s 7-12 I think. Def blocked CVV and on bank statement blocked all information but the address pretty much.

They take a ****load of time to get back to u and I'm going on week 3 soon.

I'm just curious about what the stalling is all about.
