So, after the latest update, I update, go to log in, and get a "Sorry, the username or password is invalid."

I try a few more times, then use the "forgot password?" feature to request a new password. The temporary password they send doesn't work either, and gives the same message.

Talked to a friend, he said the same thing is happening to him.

Who else is affected? Has support said anything about it yet?

I sent a message to support and security, but haven't heard anything back yet.

This usually happens when your account gets locked pending investigation. GL.

This was actually the case, apparently. Contacted support, sorted out the issue. I'd installed a program that was on their banned list before realizing it was there, once I realized it I didn't use it, but their scan picked it up anyway apparently.

It's actually kind of odd, as I installed it months ago, you'd think they would have noticed it then if they were going to at all.

At any rate, contacted support, explained the situation, they reinstated the account quickly.

TBH I'm not sure how so many people seem to slip through the cracks with FTP support, every time I've contacted them in the past they've responded competently within a few hours.

Sounds like they added something to this update that will bust these guys. What software was it, by the way? Probably be best to tell people in case they see this thread before logging into FTP. It'll l save them some headache.

How is it that you receive a response within a few hours while almost everyone else with a problem it takes a few months. Who are you blowing? I'll send my gf over..
