Is Live Ace comparable to NL2?

I started playing at Live Ace about three weeks ago. I'm just looking to get some hands in and become reacquainted with the game post Black Friday.
Within a few months, I hope to move onto legit poker sites like Bovada or WPN.
But for the time being, I'm trying to figure out what threads are even relevant to the skill level of Live Ace.
Some of the players are fairly decent. Thought it may be comparable to NL2 but I wanted to see what you guys thought?

The 1/2 game is like $1.50NL. But, you can make more money playing 1/2 on LiveAce than you can at 25NL on a regular site, per hand that is.
