No that's what makes it a good example, i.e. it illustrates that my complaint that Dimensus Limited is a shell company does not in and of itself mean anything, since other legitimate businesses sometimes do this for whatever reason.

Bobby Izzabott, you came down hard on the OP early in this thread. What are your thoughts now?

Got Nutz?, you agreed w/Bobby Izzabott. What are your thoughts now?

oh, and it occurs to me that Pitbull also may have no clue who I am, so for the record, my name is Serge Ravitch and you may or may not have seen me on 60 Minutes
The name rings a bell. I'm glad you are looking into this.

I would also like to give pitbull poker a big thanks for their silence and for removing the hh's from the website. It gives the cheating allegations a lot more credibility because it is still possilbe they were simply incompetent thugs running yet another shady business.

BTW I found some court documents confirming that Kevin (ksscanuck and a few other aliases) was ineed prosecuted for the illegal satellite equipment stuff. These guys have some pretty awesome credentials!

Guys I wouldn't bother looking too hard at the company structure anymore. You will almost certainly find that there is just a shell company/mail drop in Cyprus, which is probably owned by 2 more shell companies in the BVI, where they are not required to report owership. The trail will end there.

Fortunately we know who the 2 key players in this thing are now.

I believe Kevin Baronowsky is a Canadian citizen, but may reside in either Costa Rica or the USA, with Cost Rica being much more likely.

Federico Schiavio is probably a US citizen that resides in CA and spends a fair bit of time in Italy.

Either way they are both citizens of countries that will prosecute them for violating the UIEGA. There is also a reasonable possibility that due to the shell company structure they have going, they weren't totally accurate in their tax filing. So the next step here is to put together a nice summary of all this and foward it to the IRS and the Justice Department, along with the proper Canadian equivilant. The summary I wrote and posted in the NVG thread is a good start. Feel free to add any more relevant details and post a new draft if you want.

When is the last time you played there? Some of my HH's are still available.

About 3 weeks ago. Up until yesterday I could access over 10,000 hands.

If your hand histories were removed yesterday after this thread, that looks very bad for them. Have you emailed them?

OK, that answers it. The only HH's I can get are from 7/10 forward. I don't know if the previous ones were available before yesterday or not because I didn't try to get them until yesterday.

Dave, are the hand histories regularly removed so that only the most recent are retrievable, or did someone suddenly remove the older ones yesterday?

Thanks for backing up what I thought for a long time. Pitbull is the only site I felt uncomfortable playing. Now I know why.

Guess you have never heard of Propping. We obey restrictive seating rules and get 100% (sometimes more, sometimes less like 75%) rakeback.

We are not supposed to mention site names publicly but rest assured there are plenty of Legit sites that hire props, just like B&M poker rooms.

If you are a low stakes winning player (like 3/6 or 5/10 FL or 1/2 NL) with no Rakeback you would make triple with 100%

FWIW - there is in fact no such thing as UK law. There is the law of England & Wales, and the law of Scotland (and I assume the law of Northern Ireland). The three are likely to be largely similar, but are technically different. So whichever lawyer wrote that (if it was a lawyer) is a dimwit - and I'm not a lawyer myself.

Otherwise, as you were.

Well done Chesterboy and others, excellent work. In the words of my old boss "If it looks like a turd, and smells like a turd, the chances are that it really is a turd".

I second what Barton says. Don't let this thread cast a bad light on other props sites. They can be great sites. You just have to do your own research and watch out for cheating on your own. I joined pitbull against my better judgement in the first place, it looked sketchy even by prop standards.

A month ago I was able to see my hands on the website which is 7 months after my last hand played but now there is nothing there. I just chatted live support requesting my hands and they say that all hands get erased after 3 months. They are getting tangled in a web of lies.

A few days ago Mr Brenes said he can get the hands but it's too much work, and now Pitbull says they are deleted, which is it?

If all hands get erased after 3 months, then why cant others get hands played just 3 weeks ago? Maybe Mr Pitbull can answer that but, i have a feeling we wont be seeing him here anymore.

Hey everyone,

I was directed to this forum by a friend...wish I had checked it out before...but I wanted to let you all know a little about Pitbull. I worked for them for about one year, out of a North American city (not Costa Rica) doing some contract work for them out of my home. During this time everything seemed fine and I had no problems with them until recently.

About a month ago the owner just stopped communications with me out of blue. He failed to reply to several Emails and Instant Messages, all the while his workers telling me he was out of town, or in meetings and would get back to me ASAP. He never did and ended up screwing me out of several thousands of dollars.

It also turned out after talking to a few other ex-employees (who at the time the owner had told me had quit) that he had actually fired them, moved offices, changed phone numbers and owed a lot of money to a lot of people. Because of his moving around and constant changing of his numbers, these people were unable to get a hold of him ever.

I did some more research after this and found that the owner, Kevin Baronowski was actually involved in some previous scams in his Canadian home town.

"In November 2005, Baron Technologies, owned by Kevin Baronowski, was fined $50,000 for the illegal sale of satellite television signals. That figure included the value of items seized from the store by police. In Minisofer's case, the value of the equipment -- for which the lawyers did not have a figure -- is over and above the fines."

You can read the whole article here:
http://www.cmpda.org/press/060126.html

Don't trust these people and especially DON'T trust Kevin, he is a liar and a coward. I have MSN histories and Emails detailing my constant and futile attempts to get anything out of these people. I even spoke with Dave several times, who said when I asked about any way I could contact Kevin "mmm I guess phone but I don't have his number... and I doubt someone here has it...."

So no one who works for this guy has his number...yeah right. The last Email I got from Kevin:
I have been pretty busy with the wedding... I just sent the wire.
Kevin

Needless to say, that never came. Deal with these people at your own risk. The only real question now is, who would marry this douch.ebag?

Hi.

Can you provide contact info for the other employees via pm to me? Can you give us any detail on the nature of your work? Do you have any more detailed contact info for Kevin? Any other info you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Seriously Dave. Where are the hand histories. You have to provide hand histories or you and your site have no real credibility.

To me this is a basic service that must be provided in the event of these types of accusations.

Words and banter on either side of the fence are meaningless. The AP side of the fence made this perfectly clear. Very rarely was their truth in anything they said. I seem to remember them telling us all "that seeing a players hole cards is impossible."

HH's are essential. If your site is not able to provide them then we are dealing with a serious deficiency.
