How much rakeback to make Ipoker profitable?

he rake for 25nl at Pokerstars is currently 5% with a cap at $2 whilst iPoker rake at 20NL is 5% up to $3.
Since i'm a functioning ****** i dont know how to accurately work out how much rakeback i'd need on Ipoker to make it worth leaving Stars.
Other factors to consider are the (meagre) bonuses on Stars as well as reduced hands per hour on Ipoker due to their crappy software.
If anyone could help me out i'd surely appreciate it.
Thanks

Hi Tosspot,
At the moment it's going to be a pretty tough calculation as iPoker uses the Average Contributed rake calculation method whereas Stars has recently changed to Weighted Contributed.
iPoker's rake is generally considered a little more expensive, but of course the rewards make up for this.
Overall if you're a relatively tight player the current difference in rake methods and higher rewards probably mean iPoker is slightly more lucrative, although it's not a perfect science.
It's cliche, but you should also evaluate other factors like; traffic, game softness, safety, software and so on.
Hopefully this helps,
Jamie
