how man hands in a PokerStar VPP? how man hands in a PokerStar VPP?

Just tonight I realized that I have 60,000 FPPs in PokerStars. I was looking through the "VIP Store" at all the cool shiz I can buy, but I need to get my status up to at least Silver Star level or higher.

I'm trying to figure out how many hands it will take me to earn X number of VPPs. Obviously there is no concrete conversion factor, but does anybody have some statistics over the course of a month (or more) where you know how many hands you played and how many VPPs you earned?

It would be best for .50/1 NL stakes, 6max, but I guess any numbers would do.

I know this is a ridiculous question, but I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

You might play around with this: http://www.pokerstars.com/vip/calculator/

Also, there's a thread around here somewhere where people post the number of VPPs/hand they are averaging at various stakes. I can't turn it up, but if you look around a little, it's here.

I think you get like .4 VPP/hand at 100NL 6max if I remember correctly

I 12-tabled 100NL today for 7.5 hours, playing 5,000+ hands for 1,816 VPPs (0.36 VPP/hand)
