holdem manager and norton anti virus

I updated my computer. I now have a problem starting up my holdem manager. My norton360 sees it as a Trojan or something and wont let it start up. I have to go into to norton and turn off the antivirus. I dont like doing this. Is there another way so norton will allow it to startup. Also if i am just playing poker is it safe to have the antivirus turned off?

There should be a holdem manager update on the forums that will remove the false virus alerts.
