If you ever played in that you would realize that apparently J9 vs 22 vs 106 suited all in preflop for 75 BBs is a setup hand.
That was not even the craziest hand I saw at my table either.
No kidding, but a semi turbo + a crazy payout structure + a ton of people in it via satellites who play in their mind for free = a lot of eliminations fast.
You are free to have your "something must be up" beliefs all you like, but there are probably better ones then this that can at least appear more rational, and odds are you "feel" that about all sorts of thing you fail to fully understand.
Use better rigged theory selection.
