There wiring me the money, and giving me $50. I guess it could be worse.

I have chase and all the wires I have tried have failed and money returned to my account after a week. I'm still waiting on numerous transfers going back to 10/27

Well, I just got the same deal as many others have... they are wiring my 4 withdrawals and gave me a $50 bonus. Still doesn't make up for how much this cost me in late fees for my bills, etc.. and I hope my bank doesn't give me any problems as I have never done the wire before...

Honestly I don't understand you people getting "late fees" for bills while you wait on transfers. In the current state of online poker, their are several factors beyond our/FTP's control when it comes to your withdrawl. If you are waiting on this money for bills and it is all you have to your name; it's time to call that 1800 gambling number you see on TV...

Instead of criticizing about something you know nothing about, you could bother to read one of my earlier posts in this thread. I am on medical disability and have been out of work for months now. I am using online poker as my income as I am not getting much from disability. I do have a good job and will have it to go back to when I am better, but for now, the bills have to get paid somehow. Maybe you need to call the 1800 STFU number...

It is nice that FTP has wired everyones money, but now I am curious if my bank transfer will not go through or if there will be another issue since they wired everyones money.

I was generalizing, since most people have received that email. I would email them and find out what is going on.

Varies based on intermediary banks and your banks fees as well. It can range anywhere from no fees to $80 bucks, but I would most likely expect somewhere in the $0-$50 for myself as I do not think my bank charges a few but I am not certain, as that is usually what it falls in between. You should check what fees your bank generally charges, my guess is somewhere in the $15 range, so it should be $15-$50 for you. Hope that helps.

Just received the email others got this sounds like bad news.

Hello,

You are receiving this email because we note that you have recently deposited via bank wire transfer. Unfortunately as of today we are not currently able to offer the wire deposit method. We are investigating this matter urgently and do hope to be able to offer this deposit method to you again in the very near future, however for the time being any future wire payments made to previously issued banking details will be returned by the bank, less applicable fees. In the meantime, please use alternate deposit methods to fund your PokerStars account.

Please rest assured that any payments that may previously have been sent and have not yet been credited, are expected to be received and credited as normal.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience, and if you have any other concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.

Best regards,

PokerStars Payment Services

I deposited and withdrew using wire. I use Chase.

It's definitely making me think of moving exclusively to Stars as well. F'ing frustrating. Hopefully, I can get the $25 credit and they just put my money back on my account. This is nuts.
I like the Live Poker too (especially since Stars/FTP went down in my state). This cashout thing from FTP is not fun.

However, you should check out the Stars thread (i.e. - certain states have lost the ability to use Echeck withdrawals, AND checks are bounding. My first cash out check - final - was bad).

I don't think the money is safe, blah blah. You have sketchy processors - whom have the money once it is sent, and you have DOJ seizures - which takes the money. Hence, those bounced checks and bank transfers - they actually have to make that money up.

AND, how many folks are cashing out from WA right now (including Affleck - unless he set up something else). and/or holiday cash out?

The money from October got seized or ran off with (of course, they won't tell you that - but its insinuated with the Processor Issues Email). So, they need to make that money up. Time for Lederer to give up some of the Holiday cash.

Live poker is the most miserable thing ever. You people can't be seriously debating about converting.

Nothing today on my 11/16 wd, and my deposit from last week hasn't gone through, so I am sure that is related to the processor...

Dude:

a. You needed to save up PRIOR to being disabled (watch the Suze Orman show, Till Debt Do Us Part- visit the Websites - or get a Roku box and watch for free. They are $80 on Amazon, with free shipping - works with Standard and Hi Def TVs).

b. Since you didn't, you need to save anyway (at least $160 per month).

c. Disability is NOT an excuse, since I am on Disability also, and am NOT dependent on Poker Cashouts for my income (they make nice side purchases though).

However, I wonder how this wire thing works if you are from WA state? (PS, sorry if this has already been addressed, since I haven't gone through the whole thread yet).

Why is it miserable? Online players make GREAT Live players (unless you are just into rakeback, promos - then maybe not).

Since you have to buy in for larger amounts - when you double your money in 2 hours - a lot better than online.

PLUS - that is where the fish are.

For some reason, I don't think this is all fully resolved.
