Will there be any problems if I have a withdrawal made to a bank account that is not in my name?

I'm about 90% sure that it will be declined.

I'm fairly certain that the bank information has to match your account name and address.

They are either doing this because there's been a ton of people cashing out to switch sites/quit playing at FTP and they want to slow their money down, or because they have everyone's money in the bank somewhere and want to earn as much interest on it as possible.

They allow you to enter the name of the primary account holder even if it isn't you. I can't see where it would be an issue if you filled out the primary account holders name correctly.

This is what I'm hoping. I have previously always just had checks mailed to me and was wanting to pay a debt by having some ftp funds withdrawn directly to their bank account.

This is frustrating. I thought cashing out 3 weeks in advance of my bills being due was safe. I guess not. My buddy cashes out on pokerstars and gets it every couple days...

Right, except the people who cashed out from PokerStars on the days that we are still waiting on from FTP are now getting the money returned to their accounts so that they can initiate another means of cashing out their funds.

Meanwhile, FT says it should only take 15 business days but obviously they don't care if it takes longer than 15 days and will eventually put the money back in your account if it doesn't go through...at, presumably, however many business days they feel like waiting.

also afaik, FTP is capping their bonus for ppl at $50 (people have also reported smaller bonuses), while Stars is issuing 10% no matter your amount.

it's just one of those rhetorical questions nobody will ever be able to answer...why do people still play at full tilt?

If you cash out via check or bank transfer or anything else that FTP tells you is 'free' you get an MGR hit to your rakeback. It's something like $15 (MGR)
