I have enjoyed 2+2 substantially to not only proliferate my game but it's been a great networking tool. There are a lot of players w/ frozen money on FTP, including myself. At the moment, there is nothing we can do but go with the company's statements and eagerly wait for the update that will allow us to withdraw. It's well known that FTP has had more accounts frozen than PS, thus taking longer. Further, two years ago FT had double accounting issues that they can't afford to happen again.

Unlike UB/AP, FT has been vocal to address the weekly progess they've made in facilitating our withdraws by hiring many accountants to efficiently coordinate in doing so. Posts like the one just created titled "The truth about Full Tilt Poker" is just another attempt to scare us into thinking all these announcements are lies. I have no proof that they are, but the best we can do is wait and keep a positive outlook on this situation. As poker players, we all have a bit of compulsiveness in us that can get out of hand at times. I'm truly sick and tired of all these negative posts from pundits. For some reason, humans like to manipulate others into thinking falseness for entertainment sake.

My intent for this thread is to tell the FT community that we need to relax a bit. I'm as nervous/anxious as the next grinder, but the best we can do ATM is to rely on our balance/patience which many of us have gained through extensive playing. There will be an answer soon to all of our worries, whether good or bad, but i hope everyone will negate all this fearmongering and focus on the present.

Ugh, another one of these. There may be nothing we can do, but that doesn't mean we won't be / shouldn't be angry. Announcements or no announcements, FTP is looking out for themselves, and that has absolutely nothing to do with our interests. As a longtime customer, I don't care for it.

OP - Just curious, how much money do you have tied up on FTP, and what % of your net worth does that amount to?

I am trying to CHILL. But I have $10K in there, and a locked account. No responses from FTP. How am I suppose to feel? At least you can look at your balance. I can't even login.

Enough for it to matter greatly. I'm as nervous as the next guy but all these negative threads don't help us nervous players any. I prefer pessimism over optimisim.

.....Umm, implication being that players silently going along with FTP's strategy (as OP suggests) is not in our interests.

Certainly after Pokerstars cashed out their players, I don't see why we shouldn't be vocal in this regard, especially in such highly-trafficked places as 2+2. Why shouldn't we be putting public pressure on FTP? Why shouldn't we make sure that players around the world are aware of how they handle this situation? How they handle this is absolutely definitive of their integrity as a poker room.

I dont think FTP players are going to get paid. I hope im wrong but i doubt it.

Being vocal is one thing. However, a majority of these threads and posts are false and only raise our insecurity around the whole situation. VOCAL is quadjacks radio, Pokernews and the PPA. Fretting about the uncontrollable is a waste of everyone's time. patience is a virtue sir.

Totally irrelevant. These mediums are completely inaccessible to the vast majority of people affected. In contrast, 2+2 is widely trafficked worldwide, and FTP knows this. Listening to news or talk radio, or watching the PPA act when we have no individual say, is not being vocal in any sense of the word.

Anyway.... I will chill out when they actually tell us something concrete. Something like "We have hit a snag getting funding payouts to U.S. customers because of XXX reason"

ha, ok man. Your obviously not getting the point. Every player w/ ample money on FT is stressing about the situation. You don't think FT is stressed? they have the U.S. government coming after them!

Further, 2+2 is very much a vocal community, but why stress over something we have no control over? The polar vocality on this issue won't rush the expedition of our funds. Instead, we should be working on getting poker back in the U.S. I'm done with you. I'm going into my zen.

If FTP had segregated accounts I cant see why it would possibly take this long.

Hahaha! While I'm *sure* I have more than OP, posting it here is irrelevant to the conversation, so that really wasn't where I was going.

I'm genuinely curious to know what's OP's situation is that he is advising people to "take a chill pill". If he has a life-altering amount, I'd be impressed with his poise and try to take a lesson. If he's got small-time cake, I'd know that chillaxing is pretty easy in his situation, and disregard him altogether.
