Okay servers went down RIGHT before the UCLA-Memphis game.
I would not be surprised if they went back up RIGHT after the KU-UNC game (or at the point where it becomes 100% clear KU wins [as opposed to 97.43% right now]) ends.
This would confirm my theory that FTP servers are powered by bicycle. These bicycles are ridden ex-college basketball players who were not good enough to make the NBA and not educated enough to get a job in the U.S.
