New in today's update:
A.
Multi-Entry Tournaments: The pace of new JJProdigy jokes was slowing way down, so we had no choice but to come out with this.
It is what it sounds like, and you can now play in the same tournament multiple times. Unlike the inevitable comparisons to multi-accounting, though, there is no unfair advantage here. You are always "you" and everyone knows it. You can never be seated with yourself, and if you eventually have more entries than there are tables, you will be forced to "merge" stacks (see the details page linked below for more on merging).
Even players who don't like to multi-table can get in on the action. You can play all of your entries at the same time or just play one until you bust and register again (as long as late reg is still available) up to the limit for that tournament. To start, most multi-entry tournaments will have a limit of 4 or so entries, but this can and will move up or down on a per tournament basis depending on feedback and analysis.
Many of the missing FTOPS events are Multi-Entry, and the upcoming Double Guarantees Week will be entirely Multi-Entry.

The first Multi-Entry tournament will be kicking off at 9:00 ET (it's $1, tournament number 211167813, splurge and play 4 entries) and I'll throw in a $100 bounty to anyone that gets merged (note I'm travelling for the next 20+ hours so give me a couple days to pay up). Black Card Tiers: The worst kept secret since Prahlad, you now earn 3x FTPs when your 100 day running average is 1,500 FTPs and 4x when it's over 3k. Play in a shorthanded game during a regular Happy Hour and you could be earning 6x FTPs!
In addition, these top two tiers will be able to participate in the "Black Card Carte Blanche," which is basically the Black Card concierge program. It won't officially launch until the end of the month/beginning of next month, but the teaser for it should be in the Black Card store soon.

Sit Out All Tables: Also Sit Out Next BB At All Tables. There are new options to be found next to the "Sit out next hand" and "sit out next BB" advanced action checkboxes, which will allow you to sit out (and back in) at all of your tables at once. Very handy for ending a session (or answering a doorbell).

Badugi/9-Game Tournaments: Both making an appearing in the next FTOPS (9-Game as a Multi-Entry tournament). Some new SNGs, too.

Run It Twice in Mixed Games: For the NLH/PLO parts of the mix only.

Regular FTP Store Prices: Technically not part of this update, but people were expecting prices to change yesterday and they didn't. The price changes are now happening towards the end of the week. The Black Card store and tournament tickets aren't being touched, but many other prices are changing.
Quick note about a known bug in today's update: There are some cases where you will get a wrong error message when you have auto add-on checked. The add-on will still be performed, but it will display an error saying it failed. This will be fixed in a quick update later today. Sorry for any confusion it causes.

- No ETA, and I'm not sure it's coming at all. It may always be based on ET.

any idea when A-5 Triple Draw tourneys will be added? Hope something is being planned
- If I had to guess, I would say by FTOPS XX or XXI.

the HU SNG Leaderboard is currently pretty rigged, the "highest" category is from $50s and up, and the way you do it (I totally understand why, to avoid collusion, etc.) is based on the number of players you have a winning record on, not # of games won or anything, but you understand implicitly why this makes it basically IMPOSSIBLE for a $500+ winner to beat a $50 turbo or super turbo player right?
- mersenneary might disagree, but I generally agree. We're kicking a few ideas around.

Split them [HU Leaderboards] up by game somehow. There's really no hope for anyone other than NLHE players
- We wouldn't be able to offer any kind of "good" prizes for the non-NLH versions, unfortunately. We could do a "just for fun" type of thing, or maybe figure out a way to weight the non-NLH games a tiny bit to make them a little more popular, but really there isn't too much we can do here since they're just so much less popular than NLH.

- There's a chance, but it wouldn't be any time soon.

But only if I exit the client, right? So I still can't unregister from all not-yet-started SNGs while I finish my last few games at the end of a session?
- Right, that functionality doesn't exist yet. I don't know when/if it's coming, either. It's definitely a known request, though.

Why aren’t Cash Bonuses instant when Tourney Tickets are and when will FT be changing this policy?
- Mostly because you have to play a tournament with a tournament ticket and you wouldn't have to play anything with an instant cash bonus. I'm not saying we'll never change how this stuff works, but that's why it currently works the way it works.

Will FT Remove or reduce the MGR for Cash Bonuses? and if so when?
- It's very unlikely that would happen. MGR hits aren't there to "punish" players, they're there to share the costs of players with affiliates.
9.
When a Happy Hour start (and the big pop-up announcement is dispalyed on the tables), I can't see very clear if the person 5 on my left, or 4 on my right, has put money in the pot.
- As others have mentioned, if you click the Happy Hour pop-up on the table it will go away.

If you do this, can it start on a random game each time or go through the games in a random order otherwise the later games in the rotation will never be played.
- Unfortunately that's not possible at the moment, but I like the idea.

while i like the idea of these On Demand tournys it seems like it has cut the fields in the regular schedule MTT's which is what i still prefer to play. the regular $2 and $3 mtts had like double the prize pool.
- This is very true. I think we'll likely put a small guarantee on more of the regularly scheduled micro stakes MTTs so that they'll regain some field size. I don't know when that will happen, but that's the longer term plan at the moment.

Now we have to remember to trade in a useless ticket every month.
- You don't have to remember to do it every month. The ticket is good for a year, so you can forget for many months and then exchange a bunch of them at once if you want.
I saw a bunch of weird theories out there for why we made this change. The main reasons for the change to a ticket system were to respond to complaints that players didn't like having to decide a week or more in advance whether or not they'd be available for the freeroll (now you can decide at the last minute whether or not to play) and to simplify the process of getting to the Iron Man page every month. We're working on getting rid of that once a month popup asking if you want to participate in the program completely, and getting rid of the choice between the freeroll and the bonus medals was the first step.

BTW, doesn't it bother anyone that The top of the "Tournaments" tab is littered with "SNGs"? There is a SNG tab (along with multitable), why force mtt players to scroll down a page each time?
- If you never want to see the MTT SNGs or the On Demand tournaments, there's a filter for both of them in the Advanced Filters (or Favorites).

now user name is blocked every time user takes an action, which is terrible beyond words when multitabling, making it confusing as hell to know who you are dealing with...never had an issue before you changed it, and you messed it up... and there is no way for us to change it, we're stuck with those big blue words RAISE, CHECK, BET
- This confuses me a little, since we went from covering both the name and the chip stack with those actions, and now we only cover up the name. We have only made things more visible, not less. The name was always covered, so how can it now be more confusing and how can you only have an issue with it now? Anyway, I do believe you that it's annoying not to see the name when the player acts, but I can't think of a great way to show everything at once with our current setup.

if the only Tiered update is @ 1500 pt average. Are the people who average 500-1499 pts a day just **** out of luck?
- There are Iron Man Plus medals at 1,000 FTPs, so there's a little something there (and again a little something at 2,000 FTPs). When you combine Iron Man and Black Card, there aren't very many averages that don't get something extra from somewhere, since there's now something at 500, 1k, 1.5k, 2k, and 3k.

Could you tell us then on how many occasions you have permitted a name change in, say, the last year?
- I don't know offhand, but I'd be surprised if it was more than 10-20.

The time bank for 100NL rush seems to be 20 secs. Can you also increase the time bank for 100PLO rush to 20 secs please. The additional 10 secs can be very valuable while multitabling and especially in PLO.
- Done, sorry about that.

When I hit ctrl-T to see what tourneys I'm registered in, it comes in a quasi-random order. Can you make it so we can get them sorted by time started, with SnGs/OnDemands on top, then MTT scheduleds sorted by earliest-to-latest? Also, it would be nice to add the NAME of the tournaments to this list (ie Double Deuce, Iron Man Freeroll, etc.) so I can quickly recall what I'm playing and when.
- Yeah, that dialog needs a makeover.

The WC Rake Back is currently unfair as it isn't weighted to the cap.
- For technical reasons it wasn't possible to implement the system like that, and I don't think it's going to change any time soon, if ever.

is it possible to make the lobby sortable by tables in which the player is currently playing/on the wait list/not on the wait list?
- Hmm, maybe. What would you call that / where would you click to make that sort happen?

under what circumstances will FTP offer to change an SN unsolicited?
- There have been two recent cases that I know of where the name change was offered rather than requested. The very recent case was IHateJuice, who had a good number of complaints about the name filed. He's a high profile player and gets lots of attention, so we asked him to change his name so that nobody would be offended. We emailed all of his opponents letting them know about the change. It didn't go perfectly, but there was nothing weird going on here.
For the more controversial case, I can't really get into the particulars here, but we screwed something up and offered the change (and then we screwed up again and made the change while he was playing).
The other case I can think of was for a new red pro that needed the name someone else already had, so we had to request a name change.

anyway to get more challenges in the Academy for SNG players? SNG players only have 4 challenges. Cash Game players have 4 pages and MTT players have 2 pages
- I'll ask the Academy guys to look into it.

When will multicurrency accounts implemented at FT(Euro, GBP)?
- For holding your account in different currencies, I'm hopeful it will be this year. There are no current plans for actually playing in different currencies on the global .com site.

Would it be possible to allow us to use two of $26 tickets to play in a $52 super turbo?
- It's not technically possible to use more than one ticket to buy a single entry into a tournament at the moment. Maybe someday.

Any chance of getting a fix for new tournament tables stealing focus?
- Yes! I believe this is fixed in this update. There is still a brief moment where the new table will appear at the top of all other tables, but it will no longer steal focus and will immediately go behind the table that currently requires your attention.

adding time filter to advanced filters for MTTs would help me reduce lobby clutter by removing 80% of the MTTs that run durring hours that I never play.
- I don't know when, but I imagine this will happen someday.

Also, you said a while ago that you were going to look into making some better rewards for the TLB. The top 200 play in the FR where only first gets a 12k package is kinda bleh. You just need to add a little bit to it and pay more spots then first. Maybe something like who ever makes the final table gets a ticket for all your majors for the month, or a more traditional payout in that you pay the final table by %.
- Yep, I'm going to get the ball rolling on this.

Could you make it so we can control the order of in the favorites tab. I want to be able to put my most favorite favorite over my least favorite favorite.
- It's alphabetical, so you can just edit the name of your favorite to change the order.

- Yes, for sure.

Just out of curiosity, any current plans to expand rush to 2/4 6max and/or 3/6 FR in the next 6 months? 12 months?
- None at the moment, but we do review the offerings regularly and it may happen eventually.
