ok srsly, now that i think about it, cake should let everyone that got double rake (which im assuming is everyone who gets rb got) keep their monies. it was their mistake, and it's our monies at that point right? so it's like they're stealing from us!

I noticed i got double rakeback from Cake as well, they also figured out their error and took the money back pretty quick.

My friend was once overpaid by a site for about mid 4 figures...we collectively brainstormed the quickest and most efficient way to move the money before it was detected. Anything else would be uncivilized!

lol, so cake poker is known for giving twice the rakeback cause they announce that they will give it the 5th of each month and they give it the 1st I think thats why!

A few months ago, I had a similar thing happen to me on Absolute. At the begining of the month, I was expecting rakeback in the amount of $865 ( as per my affiliates calculations on their website). Lo and behold, they deposited $8,865 into my account instead of $865 !....I was sure they would catch the mistake and take the money out, so I didnt do anything. After a couple of days, when nothing happened, I cashed out half that amount to my MB account. Still no emails, nothing.......so after a couple of days more, I cashed out the rest.

To this day (almost 7 months later), I have not heard from anyone...not my affiliate or AP. I continued playing on AP till about 3 weeks ago.

Same thing happened to me, got my rakeback twice for a month. Mailed my rakeback guy, told him. I felt good about it.

All I want to know is how he 15 tables at Cake, I can't hardly 4 table without wanting to shoot myself.

I was the friend who gave it back, what happened was that after i emailes raketaker like 5 minutes after the money was taken back, the guys @ raketaker told me it was cakes problem so anyway they took it back like 10 mins after i emailed raketaker. If cake wouldnt have taken it back couple mins ago i would have emailed cake anyways that they gave me extra money, i just feel bad to steal, or take or play with money that does not belong to me. In poker or if i find money on the street i would give it back if i see who dropped it.

How i 15 table cake (generally 12 table not 15 table only sometimeS), with overlappping, got used to it, at first it was tough but u get use to it, not a very good idea to play in autopilot though, i hardly ened the month a little up and basically thnx to sng not cash game where i broke even

imo, it sounds more like OP just received double rake back from cake, and is trying to see what the consequences would be if he were to try to keep it.

This (double-rakeback payment) happened to me on AP last year. I mailed my affiliate how said it was AP's issue and not coming out of his hide. He also cautioned me that when they fix the mistake they might compound it and end up costing me. Nevertheless, I told AP and they took their money back and thanked me with a tourney ticket.

Then for the next 3 or 4 months they continued to make the same mistake. I figured they really wanted me to have that money so I kept it.
