today is 12/27 not 12/28. That's 20 calendar days and 13 business days, 3 days over 10 business days that Stars claimed. 10% interest for 3 days ain't so bad.

So after HostJacob and other Star's support personnel saying they could refund money to player's accounts and let us withdraw via a different method, I then get this email:

Thank you for your email.

It is clearly not in our best interest to not provide you with the best
withdrawal services that we can offer to you and all our players.

We do empathize with the frustration that you may be feeling and as such
have worked to resolve these pending cashout issues.

I can confirm that the complete backlog has now been sent for processing by
our eCheck processor and requests made on December 4th and 5th have already
started to reach players.

Please note that we are processing the oldest cashouts first so it is
likely to take a few business days for all requests to reach your personal
accounts.

We ask for your patience as requests *will* still be delayed and we
currently do not hold a specific time frame for final arrival and
reflection on your personal bank statement.

Unfortunately, as these requests have already been sent for processing, we
are unable to cancel them and return the funds to your PokerStars' account.

We understand that simply 'waiting' is not the most comforting action for
you to take, for this we apologise. However, we will hold no further
updates until the funds actually reach your account.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,

PokerStars Cashier Team

That's horrible... I somewhat understand that somethings are out of their control and don't blame them fully for this garbage, but keep us update for Christ's sake.

I was wondering what had happened to my echeck. The 10% bonus is awesome and I am once again a happy customer Stars.

They must be pretty confident the problem is solved and that cashouts are coming within the next several days and just don't want to deal with "where's my money" questions everyday when there is nothing else they can/will do to expedite cashouts. Not at least having a timeframe or figuring out an option to return the delayed payments to Stars accounts is just bad business. Im sure they are afraid of double-credited cashouts, and the 10% bonus to compensate was a meaningful gesture, but their e-check procedure needs to have a way to return money to players accounts once a delay beyond 10 business days occurs. I hope they are re-evaluating the e-check procedure and not just switching to a new processor so we dont end up repeating this same problem in six months.

Stars would be better off eliminating e-checks or restricting e-checks to Supernova or whatever can be handled rather than having an unreliable process IMO. If regulations make e-check withdrawals unreliable, stick to paper checks

i got the feeling last night that refunds to our playing account was a real possibility. i.e. they did not "argue" that the e-withdrawal was going to happen.

i'm not sure i understand the email (i've never had to clear a bonus before taking a cashout i don't think).

Hello Granny,

Thank you for your e-mail.

I have looked into this, and can extend with offer by 1 week for you.

Should your eCheck deposit be placed back in your PokerStars account, go
ahead and make your intended withdrawal and our support staff will credit
your account afterwards with the deposit bonus.

Just let us know when you are ready to have the bonus applied, but make
sure you do not make any cash outs until after the bonus is cleared.

Take care of any cash out based on returned eCheck prior to asking us to
give you the bonus.

Thank you for playing on PokerStars, and allowing us to be of assistance!

Regards,

Lars

Yeah that's an unclearly worded email to you. I think they're trying to say that they extended the deposit bonus one week. if your e-check hasnt come by then, and the amount is credited to your account, you can withdraw again via another method and they will still give you the deposit bonus after you withdraw as long as you contact Stars. This would make sense as its basically what you were asking for and it covers you under both contingencies and e-checks are resolved within a week after the deadline for depositing and getting the bonus.

Seems like the cashier team and support team should be communicating better (if they are indeed different, no idea how Stars org chart actually looks). If Stars isnt certain that the e-check problems are solved and are still shoveling all requests over for processing, that would be a pretty poor job IMO. The e-mail from the cashier implies the problem is solved, now its just a matter of working through the backlog. If 12/6's dont start coming through Monday, I think Stars needs to give another update and start refunding to accounts. At the very least Stars should let customers know what days their processors are/aren't processing transactions with all the holidays going on

Hell, I should check these forums before using echecks to cash out. I've always used it to deposit but never withdraw and the one time I do...fiasco. It looks like my 12/18 withdrawal definitely won't be in till next year. Paper checks for me from now on. I also love the way they still seem to be able to clear the deposits you make via echecks within a few days but can't use the cattle prod to move the withdrawals along. Figures.

Does anybody know when a deposit what time of day a withdrawal would show up in somebodys account? Im a 12/6 withdrawal and dont know if it is suppose to show up at like midnight or not til the next day at like noon. Just curious so i dont keep checking all day each day.

These E-check withdrawls should have never been put up as an option. I had one from ftp this summer and it was 6-8 weeks before I got paid. I don't think there was ever a period of time when the processor made the transfers in the time frame they worked out with the sites.
I have a very small one coming from 12/06, so hope it gets posted.

It depends on your bank. Generally between midnight and 8am.
