PokerStars Support only can have points for response time. It does not mean that it is best, because answers are so standard and in some cases an e-mail exchange is necessary to receive better answers.

I would instead wait some time for the support on smaller sites to contact me with thorough answers.

Post count has nothing to do with experience.

Everyone who have to deal with any kind of online supports know that Stars is way ahead of that most. I feel like Pokerstars support people actually read your mails and response to what ur asking them and are trying to be mostly helpful. Also times are unbeatable. Anyone saying anything else is just bs talker. I am really glad that the biggest site has this kind of support.

How is copy and pasting answers at all helpful ? Why they can't be like other support teams and read what is sent in, comprehending it before they reply ? Instead it is a game of back-and-forth text or asking for somebody higher up.

I guess it is all about time for their customers. But a little patience with other sites and you can be given a satisfactory answer on the very first time. The way it should be.

Hm. I dare to say most people (incl. me) have exact opposite experience. I have waited 1-2 days for templated emails from small or bad big sites and 10-15mins for good reply always from stars.

I don't mean to defend the OP but people putting off the annoyance of scanning identification for months is toooooootally standard in this industry and nothing for Stars or anyone else to get suspicious about.

Are you saying that usually it take much time (weeks, months) for people to send in documents ? Are you sure about this ?

But I also don't think there's a site that comes anywhere close to them in terms of support even with those faults so whatever site you have in mind that does it better I'm really interested to hear.

This is something I have pondered over a lot of times. why does the largest site not have live support or at least a phone no, only thing i can think of is the volume of people using a Live support would be huge, therefore stars would need to create a big call centre, so reduces overheads by not offering this to customers who pay huge amounts of rake to play there

Stars would probably get about 2000 calls a day from 2nl players asking why their KQ didn't holdup. Also logistically it requires far less training to reply via email compaired to live. all the stars staff are doing is scrolling through a list of template e-mails in 90% of the cases a trained monkey could do this.

What is wrong with email support?

Just send them a detailed list of the problems your facing and they will answer each and every point, may be in 30 min or so.

I've sent tons of email to support@pokerstars.com and was never disappointed by their response.

Were they people who had 6k in there account and supposedly played as a profession amd was apparently a huge balla on stars? If I had 6k in my account and I played a ton and someone hacked my account then stars said they needed some verification ID before i could play until I sent it, I would be at walmart buying a $50 all in one scanner, printer copier before the end of the day.

If you are a rec player and they ask for ID before you can deposit then there is a chance you will just say &*%$ it. But I doubt it if you play tons and have a fair amount of cash on there.

OP,
Aren't you worried about the high rake they will charge you at stars? I thought you went to Betraiser to avoid being raped by the sites last month?

Then the sites would have to reduce costs to get this group's business but as usual everybody here wants to talk about how i'm stupid cuz i want to start something great for the entire online poker community.

Their support is by no means perfect but their response time compared to FTP is spectacular. They generally get back to you within a day with whatever issue you may have had. Since there was apparent fraud in your account they could be investigating.

I agree that they should have a phone number listed regardless of what their cost would be. the amount of money raked is able to support a decent sized call center.

However as is their email support is still good, since you don't have another option besides email chill out and relax. You will get a reply shortly and you will be back online to gamble to your heart's content.

So you waited for like 100 days to scan it and now can wait 1 more day?
Well maybe they need to go to Kinko's to print your drivers license so they can verify it under magnification glass.

Dont want to make this post useless so heres tip for you. I heard theres now digital cameras that you can shoot stuff and get it right in to computer in some jpeg format. Ever heard of those? If only you could burrow one of those you might get away with less than 3 months next time you need something scanned!

Pokerstars support is the nuts.

I don't mind that they don't have a phone number as they do pretty well with email, and I can only imagine all the degenerate douchebags they'd have to put up with like OP etc. complaining about everything from locked accounts to rigged conspiracy theories blah blah.

I gotta be honest, I 'bashed' stars last week when their servers crashed, and yes a lot of you are right their support is miles in front of a lot of others, but what I don't get is how you veteran posters with 300 or so posts can claim that those of us with <100 are complete donktards who don't know a thing about poker, Stars DO NEED to get a call centre, a few of you have mentioned they only call if you have a deposit issue...isn't that in the slightest bit strange that the only time they will call you is when YOU want to get YOUR money onto THEIR site??? Don't get me wrong, I love the stars software & I love the staff from VIP club, HR, dad & their collusion team, but the general support staff ARE copy and paste ******s...it doesn't matter how few post's some of us have made, some of us have still been on here for a long time, reading not posting, and sometimes just reading from friends accounts, DON'T go around assuming that cos you spend 24 hours a day here makes you a balla genius with the answer's to everything!
