Hay,

im going to nyc in a cpl of days and ill bring my netbook with it, so i can grind some if i feel like it. i might even want to cash out from FTP to moneybookers and then to my credit card or something.

I heard some people got auto acc locking when loggin in from a different countries ip. should i shoot them an email? anyone experience with this?

FTP probably won't care. Last time I traveled from Europe to US I sent Full Tilt an email about this same issue and they told me I was very welcome to play there when I was in U.S. On the other hand when I accidentally logged to my neteller account they closed it immediately. It might be the same with moneybookers. So def. contact moneybookers in advance!

Im pretty sure MB will give a f*** about it. Thats the reason why its so easy to hack accounts.

If the inconvenience of this^^^^

is outweighed by the effort to do this:

then no, just go ahead and take your chances. if they do lock you out, spend a couple days getting it squared away. but at least you didn't waste your time sending an email which might not have even prevented it. (you'll never know one way or the other since you didn't check - ignorance is bliss!)

worse yet, maybe they reply and ask you for some additional details. then you'll end up having to send a second email! if that were to happen, clearly any benefit you gain from an unlocked account while visiting the City That Never Sleeps will be offset by the tedious exertion of providing them more information.

OR

If it's easier to start a thread asking if you should send an email to those parties and then send an email to them than it is to just send them an email in the first place, try that.

In summary, take the Staten Island Ferry while you're in town - it's free!

take the N/R train downtown, walk to Battery Park, it's at the lower tip of Manhattan. Look for a big boat, get on it and buy yourself a Brooklyn Lager while aboard.

It will leave shorty for Staten Island. Enjoy the sites of the Hudson River, the Statue of Liberty and the New Jersey coastline during the journey.

When it docks, DO NOT get off the boat. That is where mutants from radioactive fallout and garlic overdose live. Going below decks is advised until the return trip begins.

If you would like any more information on NYC, feel free to start a thread asking if you should PM me. Or just PM me. You decide.

it's not my boat, it belongs to the city. and it was worth every penny you spent, right?

you can still get a Brooklyn Lager though. I'd recommend you go to the Tribeca Tavern and see if Sal is still there - he looks shockingly like Tony Soprano. Tell him Mark sent ya.

This should be so obvious for any poker player.

You spend 3 minutes emailing them. In the worst case you wasted 3 minutes of your time. In the best case, you saved yourself weeks/months of struggling to get your accounts reopened, prove you are who you say you are, etc. The probably of the worst case is low, but certainly not zero and likely substantially above it.
