Happened to me too.

I limped and then the BB went all in for a gazillion big bets in a limit event.

It seems the BB can only fold or go all in.

There are indeed no limit O8 tournies but every one I have ever played before this one was announced as such and not as a limit tourney.

LOL - yeah, played this too - CRAZY!!! When you were in the blinds it was ALL IN OR FOLD - no option to call or raise. The blinds were messed up too - but I don't understand why it took UB/AP until the first break to cancel. The point here is that it was scheduled as a LIMIT game, players buying in assumed that's exactly what it was - not NO LIMIT for the blinds.
