Cashing out without depositing an initial amount on pokerstars. Cashing out without depositing an initial amount on pokerstars.

I play on pokerstars and have built up my bankroll to $680 from $80 by playing the 5nl and 10nl 6-max tables. However, I want to switch to fulltilt to take advantage of the rakeback because I only play 3-4 tables, and it'll be impossible for me to get to supernova status.

I'm in a bit of a dilemma because the initial $80 that I started with was sent to me by my friend without a direct deposit to my account, and when you cash out, pokerstars traces your most recent deposit method in order to avoid fraud. I'm new at this and I am not sure what happens when you try to withdraw in that case. I don't have a credit card to use in order to withdraw the money and then deposit it onto fulltilt. I'm 18 and Canadian and am aware that CIBC Visas allow u to perform gaming transactions, but the only one I'd be eligible for is the student visa, which requires a minimum of $1200 annual income. Since I don't have a part-time job, would it be legitimate to have poker as my job because I can make much much more than $1200 in a year. Also, would the student visa be able to make the same gaming transactions that a normal visa can? Here's the link http://www.cibc.com/ca/visa/classic-visa-students.html. Also, if the student visa happens to not work, is there any other method for me to somehow withdraw and deposit? Or am i just screwed that I didn't make an initial deposit to my account with a credit card? I know I sound dumb, but I'm fairly new to this and would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me out. Thanks.

So what did pokerstars support say when you emailed them?

I'm kind of scared that my account could get locked if I tell them because I don't want to get myself in a situation where I can't keep playing poker. Also, on pokerstars, if they wanted me to verify my age, would I need to show credit card statements and such? On fulltilt, when they asked me to verify my age, they required photo id as well as recent credit card statements. So since I don't have a credit card, I'd be in a dilemma if they needed those from me.

Clearly you haven't emailed them; obviously I knew that when I asked.

But seriously, how do you intend to get the money off if you don't interact with them in some way.

Did you start playing when underage? Was your "friend" underage when he deposited/shipped you the original $80? If not, then what's the problem. Surely you have some sort of ID which will show you were of age when you first started? Driving licence, passport, something like that. Ask them what they need and they'll help you cash out YOUR money.

Of course, if you or he were underage then you do have a problem. Unless you can ship it all back to your "friend" and he can just give you cash in real life. Then it's his problem if they wonder why this "orphaned" account shipped him $680......

As for what full tilt do, that is completely irrelevant to getting your money off stars

Email stars, see what they say.

Good luck

you don't need a credit card to withdraw money or to prove your existence. the cashier page can be a little confusing, but if they don't have a credit card to send it to, they will mail you a check. i've gotten a lot of checks mailed from stars and to my knowledge i don't think they ever asked me for any ID. if your name is on the check, you should be the only one who can cash it.

do you think you're the first person who's ever tried to cash out without ever depositing? just calm down. they won't lock your account unless you have done something wrong like cheating or stealing (or playing on the site before you were 18, in which case I still don't think they'll keep your money, but they may not let you play there anymore).

Even I've cashed out a no. of times without making a deposit through checks and wire transfers. I don't think you can use NETeller because you've never made a deposit. Although if you make your withdrawal before you make a deposit, you will not be able to use the first deposit bonus.

I would recommend that you use a wire transfer, because it's fast easy and hassle free.

I'm sorry, but could you please tell me how a wire transfer works and how to use it? I'd be really grateful if you could.

After you click cash out and enter the amount you want to cash out, PS clients provide the options that you will for cash out, select wire transfer and enter your account no. and your bank details, it will ask you for a SWIFT code or a BIC, something. You can usually find your banks SWIFT code in the bank website, other wise contact your bank for it. You will usually find the money in your bank account in a week.

uh...how about the Stars Wire Transfers mega-thread you can find on the same page as this one.

You're being dodgy here...using Stars support is still usually your best answer.

OP,

I think you'll find that the lower rake at 10NL on PokerStars will make you better off than if you get rakeback elsewhere.
