I have been playing online poker on Full Tilt for about a year and a half now. I started an account in September of 2007. I had a couple hundred in my bankroll for the months to follow until May of 2008 rolled around. I colluded with a buddy in 2-3 9 man sngs. We ended up making money in the first one and lost money in the second one and ended up a very small amount of money after it was all said and done. I thought about what I did the next day and understood how big of a mistake I had made and told myself I would never do it again. Like mentioned my buddy and I did this in no more than 3 sngs.

I understand that this is a very punishable offense and I vowed to never do it again. I understood how lucky I was in the weeks to come when it was not noticed by Full Tilt security and once again I told myself I would never do this again. I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT AT THE TIME THIS HAPPENED MY ENTIRE BANKROLL SHOULD OF BEEN TAKEN AWAY BECAUSE I CHEATED. Which at the time was a couple hundred dollars.

With all of that said and done, here is my question. This happened in May of 2008 and I never cheated again after that date. In the year 2009 all I did was grind 16 tables of 100nl and 200nl (which I might add that it is nearly impossible to cheat while 16 tabling). In the year 2009 I managed to get my bankroll from a couple hundred to a little over 7k all playing 16 tables at the same time. Just a couple days ago I tried signing into my Full Tilt account to find that it was locked and I was banned. I checked my email and they said that I was found guilty of collusion and that all of my funds (7k+) would be taken away from me.

My question is can they take all of the money that I made in the year 2009 considering it was all made legitmally? I am 100% fine with them banning my account and giving back the money to the people that I effected in May of 2008.

Please be mature about this subject. I am sorry that I cheated and learned my lesson in May of 2008.

They can do whatever they want against cheating scum like you. Why should they take the time to decipher which times you did or didn't cheat in order to accumulate your bankroll?

Too late for you now, but maybe a lesson for others: you should have sent them an e-mail immediately when you were sorry and decided you would not do it again.

They can. They did.

Is it justified? Depends on your point of view. I'm not a fan of cheaters. So, personally I say you're getting back what you dished out. Do you feel cheated? Now you know how it feels. Punishment fits the crime very well IMO.

You must have done something wrong recently for FT to all of a sudden close your account.

I learned my lesson in May of 2008 and have not done anything since then against their policies listed on their site.

Post your screen name and of your friend as well as e-mails from FTP..

Find hard to believe FTP is banning you after nearly a year and only 3 SNGs...

impossible to ban for collusion for 3 SNG's. You can just say you and your buddy decided, to **** around. Also almost 0% chance they catch you a year after the fact. There is something else to this story.

For those of you who didn't read this in the initial post..I'm sorry for what I did and I will not do it again.

I'm not here to battle and disagree with 2plus2. Please look past the fact that you doubt that they found this almost a year later. Everything I told you in the original post is true. I have not cheated in anyway since this happened in May of 2008.

These are the 3 emails I received from them. Nowhere in them do they say anything about the money I made in 2009.

Hello xxxxxxxx,

Thank you for your response.

Rest assured we will not close an account for collusion unless we have collected substantial and irrefutable evidence. Below is a sample of hands clearly displaying collusion:
They sent me a couple HH's to prove the fact

As you can see, the evidence speaks for itself, you are permanently banned from Full Tilt Poker and all funds have been forfeited.

On an end note, please do not attempt to create any additional accounts on Full Tilt Poker. If we should find any multiple accounts belonging to you in the future, they will be closed and all associated funds will be forfeited.

As you, and presumably your friend, have been banned permanently, and you admit you cheated, why not post the full HHs?

LOL, A year after? Post HH's LDO.
Maybe your friend got a bit jealous of your success without him and decided to turn you in, wouldn't be surprised if someone who agreed to cheat would do something like this.

Given all of the information I posted in this thread, my question still stands can they or can they not keep all of the money I made in 2009? The question isn't if all of the information is true or not...or if I should of done this in the first place...but given what I said can they do that?

Sounds like you must have cheated by collusion recently. How would they have detected what happened a year ago?

We know FTP support sucks, but they don't suck that much that they picked up on your collusion from a year ago. Must have been a more recent complaint...

i mean i must have played against the same players several (hundred) times at the lower levels

i guess if you guys were stupidly blatant about it, which is what is seems

karma is a bitch
