I never had any issues until today when I played some zone poker hands and on the omaha table I couldn't see my cards probably 25% of the time so I'm forced to fold.

Please fix this asap.

It would also be nice to have a safety feature lets say I raise preflop and if I was to accidentally click fold after that it would move me to the next hand without even getting to see the flop if I click too quickly. That is bad and shouldn't let me fold at least not until someone puts in a re-raise since at this point I could win the pot preflop or see the flop committing no more chips in a spot I raised.

Bovada is just try to get the rake faster with this Zone.....reminders me of Full Tilt before Black Friday! US Legislation with shut u down!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just so you guys are aware, clicking check fold will check your hand for you until someone bets. If it is folded around, you will win the pot.

If you can take a screen shot and send it my way when you don't see any cards.. that would be a huge help.

I'll pass you suggestion, and the others, along.

Na, this isn't true. I've hit it before and it immediately folded my hand and moved me to a new table.
08-07-2013 , 04:48 PM
Yes, it moves you.. but it will check your hand at the previous table until there is a bet.
08-07-2013 , 04:52 PM
So it brings you back to the game? I'm confused... Will it open a 2nd table up if the action gets back on you? Say I'm involved in a hand on a new table, wouldn't I risk timing out at the old one?
08-07-2013 , 05:00 PM
No. The system just checks for you until there is a bet, and then it will fold you.
08-07-2013 , 05:03 PM
Well I'm asking if it gets to us with no raises and we check, then the flop happens, how do we act on our hand if we are already at a new zone table? Will a 2nd table pop up?
08-07-2013 , 05:12 PM
He saying that another table will not open up, all that will happen is your in auto-check and can no longer play the hand. If it is checked all the way down you can still win the hand without "being there".

You're absolutely clueless. I guess PokerStars will be shut down too now since they have their own form of zoom poker? The U.S. can't touch Bovada since all of their critical operations are done overseas and out of U.S. jurisdiction. Bovada even ran a commercial on the biggest radio station in Chicago when they were promoting seats to this years WSOP main event. Bovada isn't scared of the U.S. govt. and it's been that way for years.
You should also note that Full Tilt had lots of problems with payouts prior to black Friday and even with taking deposits. Bovada is having no such problems.

I don't understand why anybody would want to fast fold their big blind, its an -ev move. Are we in that much of a hurry or am I missing something here?

Can't you see the description of your hand in the chat box? i.e. Ah Kh Jc 10s or whatever the hand is?

Sorry for my edits, it messed up the order of all the posts. Anyway, I guess some of us are in a hurry, as we are playing Zone poker. Whether it is -EV or not, I am going to fold 7 2 off in the BB, but it shouldn't move me to another table until someone has raised or I have won the hand. Do you see my point?

All bovada is doing is essentially letting players fold out of turn so they can play more hands, and since the players cant tell it makes a lot of sense to me. So In that sense no you shouldn't be able to play the hand if it happened to be checked around. You folded. Your point seems to be that you want an auto check and be able to play the hand in case something rare happens, well isn't that the same as just playing out the hand?

Please correct me if I am wrong, but didn't FTP do it the way I am describing?

Yes but it is nearly the same as playing the hand through. Only difference is with full tilt they saved you the trouble of having to make that extra click when someone raised.

Bovada believes its better for them to let the player muck out of turn and get right on to the next hand quicker instead of the "auto muck when facing action" method that ftp uses. I prefer ftp's method because I am never mucking my BB like that and it saves me an extra "search and click" in Rush as apposed to Zone.

Though I do see why Bovada would prefer the other way. Porbably up to 5% more hands out.

Fair point, I guess I am just used to the way Rush poker used to be (when I could actually play there).

Hey Ice,

Read several pages back and haven't seen this asked yet- do you have any idea how long it might be before Zone poker is spread at higher stakes, say 100NL+ ?

Can you please tell me the name of the song Bovada uses while calls are on hold? You see it's kind of my junt and I think it's upsetting the support staff when I keep making excuses 2 or 3 times a day to listen to it.

LOL. They play that same hold music on other places I've called in the past as well. I think it might have been the same on ACR or it was somewhere.
