It will take forever if you 4 table 6max 10nl. I'm guessing somewhere in the range of 15-20 hours.

Would you please consider removing the focus stealing. It serves no purpose to playing that I am aware of. (please correct me if I'm wrong) Perhaps you could implement an option to turn focus stealing off. It's super tilting. Thanks.

This!! +1. Focus stealing is the most ******ed thing ever. Can't you bring a window to the front without stealing focus?

This only started happening with one of the most recent updates.

What's even more troubling is many of the times I do get disconnected from Bovada or any tables (sometimes it will be just 1 or 2 of the tables that I'm on, while others still work) I won't even be disconnected from the internet, as in every one of my other programs still run and are connected fine.

And I'm pretty sure this has nothing to do with a specific hand history and is hard to tell which exact hand it happened on, just in case you give the standard 'ok ill pass it along, send a hand #'.
Happens to me every time I play heads up sit no go get disconnected and chips anted off. Bodog is suck crooks. My internet and other programs work as well. They are ripping us off probably playing against bodog and they get your money. Site is a complete rip off everyone from customer service lies through their teeth. We have to take because no one will help us but not playing their anymore.

Total bs Bodog has disconnection problems every second. It is such a scam and a cheat by Bodog. Good way to disconnect players because you can not see who is disconnecting you.
07-05-2013 , 11:34 PM
Hey man did exact same thing same response. How can we get the warning out and solve this problem? My internet is fine too. They straight up lie. Hope this story gets some articles in the magazines but they do not care.

So what can I do to prevent the disconnect problems?

Most times I don't have an issue but today has been ridiculous. Internet is fine etc...

Is there a correlation between number of tables opened and disconnecting?
07-06-2013 , 02:03 PM
When you are experiencing these problems.. please please please send me hand history #, table name, your player number at the table. I know I sound like a bit of broken record with this.. but I say this and then only one person ends up sending me anything.

Both tournaments had great turnouts last night! 3 exciting tournaments on the schedule today! Starting in just a few minutes is Event #13. Event 13 is a $5.50 $1,000 guaranteed tournament with a 3,000 chip starting stack and 15 minute levels.

Later on tonight, at 15:03, is Event #14, a $7.70 1 rebuy 1 addon with a $2,000 guarantee. To wrap the night up is Event #15, a $16.50 $3,000 guarantee turbo! Good luck to all!

As one of the people who have sent something in the past, I can say that Bodog's track record with these types of issues isn't exactly stellar. They've had disconnect issues for many years now, and their attitude is that there's nothing ever wrong on their side. I know when I do experience disconnects (granted, not very often at all), I don't even bother because I don't have faith that they can get things resolved. Hell, I don't even believe that they'll ever admit fault in the matter, much less put resources towards resolving it. I'd much rather have them focus on the bugs they introduced well over a year ago that should be easy to fix.

Another Big Money Sunday ahead! Poker's Mini Series continues on at 17:03, featuring event #16, a $55 $10,000 guarantee. At 19:03, heads up fans will enjoy event #17, a $16.50 $2,000 guaranteed heads up event (no late registration for this event). Wrapping up the evening is event #17, an $11 $5,000 guaranteed turbo at 20:03. All of this on top of the regular Sunday schedule which includes a $5.50 $3,000 guaranteed super stack, an $11 $12,000 guaranteed, a $162 $100,000 guarantee, and a $215 $25,000 guarantee (plus more!)

Good luck to all!

+1.

Aside from the fact that if my table freezes when I flop top set or have AA or whatever I am not likely to calmly note the hand no down, I just don't feel it will achieve anything.

The way i see it, I tell Ice the HH no, he tells Bodog, they say it was my issue, nothing happens.

The problem here is not the disconnections or whose fault they are - this is a part of life online and is going to happen regardless.

The problem is Bodog's policies/procedures for dealing with them. If you have even a momentary DC, you are basically out of the hand, off the table and can't rejoin for 5 mins and then not with the stack you just had. There seems to be no automatic reconnection or chance to save your tables after that second or less you disconnect.

I am not aware of any other site that has such major issues with disconnects, so not sure why Bodog tried to reinvent the wheel on this and still buries their head in the sand avoiding dealing with it.

7-7-13 8:40pm PST
Format = Table# : Seat# : hand#

I immediately checked my internet connection and it was good. If I got any information wrong I took a screen shot.

Of course after I went through all this trouble I realize that I can get on any cash games at all, so I'm guessing this is major system issues and not one of these random disconnects people were referring to when you posted this.

Bovada must be down. Their cash game lobby is dead. I kept getting disconnected and stopped trying to play 45 minutes ago. Guess I'm watching videos until they fix it.

can we get an update from bodog about the software and website being down tonight?

please???

man was 2/6 in a mtt and they killed the tourney
07-08-2013 , 02:02 AM
Hey guys,

Unfortunately, there are some wide spread connection issues that are hitting players on the network this evening/morning. Because of this, tournaments with start times up to and including 2:30 have been, or are being, cancelled. These tournaments are following the tournament cancellation policy listed here:

Quote:
Tournament Refund
This will occur if the tournament has been canceled prior to actually starting OR if the tournament is canceled prior to one or more players being eliminated from the tournament.

In this case, all players registered for the tournament will get their buy-in and fees refunded (including re-buys and add-ons if purchased). All refunds are done in the exact same way they were bought. If you bought in with a Tournament Ticket then the ticket would be returned to you.

Cancellation with No Players in the Money
When no players are in the money and a tournament is canceled, all remaining players will be refunded their entry fee and then the prize pool is divided based on the following formula:
1. 50% of the prize pool is distributed evenly among all players remaining.
2. 50% of the prize pool is distributed proportionally based on chip count.

Cancellation with All Players in the Money
When all players are in the money and we do a roll forward, all remaining players will be refunded their entry fee and then the prize pool is divided based on the following formula:
1. Each player receives the minimum prize not yet awarded at the time of cancellation.
2. The remainder of the prize pool is distributed proportionally based on chip count.
One-on-One (Heads Up) Sit and Go Tournaments
Because the outcome of a heads up tournament can be affected when one player stays connected while another does not, we reserve the right to do a chip count distribution if our site experiences a downtime that warrants the cancellation of tournaments.

Guaranteed Tournaments
If a tournament with a guaranteed prize pool is canceled:
1. When players are NOT in the money, the payout will be based on the prize pool composed of buy-ins only.
2. When players are in the money, the payout will be based on the guaranteed amount if the buy-ins fail to comprise the guaranteed amount.
Refunds are being handed out as tournaments are being cancelled. However, if you feel that the amount you receive is not correct, please allow 12-24 hours to pass (to allow for support to comb through the high volume they are receiving at the moment) and then email your operator's support.
