The main reason these were needed was because there were no deposit options for US players and now you ban US players.

Freerolling for a living I won't/can't blame them. I started my pokercareer by finishing 1st in 2000 man 50$ freeroll for a sick prize of $10. These freerolls are like a goldmine compared to that field.... plus it's in euros !

Hey, Nicole. Sent you some feedback. Not sure if you got my private message/mail, so
I'll repeat the main-points;

-please allow late registration for tournaments
-change the blind levels to 10 minutes and/or at least don't make these large jumps between levels (40 to 100, 200 to 400 , 2000 to 3000 etc. ).
-fix the bug where the table won't pop up when you're in a hand.
-the hand history doesn't show the color of your card like Ah oder As but just unreadable symbols.
-pay out at least 5 or 6 people instead of 4 in your 100€ guarantees.
-maybe change time of the 100€ freeroll or split it into two 50€ freerolls, placed within a 12hour phase
-please add a time button/function
-could you allow chatting for observers?
-maybe lower the min entrants for tournaments to 10 but with only 50€ guarantee and change to 100€ guarantee when 20 people enter
-make an auto-rebuy and auto-addon for those tournaments
-fix the bug with the bet slider
-fix the bug where you had to delete the amount of chips to post first before you can enter another number

Sure, I know that. It's 4players from 20-30 and 5 places from 31-50 players. The point here is at least 5 players. A 50-25-15-10 payout is just so top heavy for a tourney where most of the time the player pool is 22-28.

Just came here to post that I saw BR added a p2p feature, now I see that Nichole already posted about it above.

Without making a big deal out of things or going into too much detail, I can say that it seems we are fine to play (as we should be, since we will be using zero US banks for financial transactions and playing online poker is NOT illegal in the US)

I was able to log in fine. Here's how I think it can work. Americans will have to handle their own transactions and this will be done via p2p and friends. The site will be at no risk and the US players, while inconvenienced, can at least support a site that has a rake model that they agree with. I personally don't see much need for many transactions anyway, probably just one to get some funds and one once in every blue moon to take some off. I'm not into this site to make a bunch of money or anything, just about playing it and supporting the model.

Get a friend to transfer you funds, transfer funds back to that friend when needed. Work out the details with that friend. This should work and should be fine, as long as Nichole/BR doesn't disallow it for whatever reason (hopefully not unfounded legal fears) BR will/is not involved with any deposits or withdrawals from the US.

Just my daily rant. I've set up my alarm so I'd paly the 1€ Rebuy 100€ Guarantee on Betraiser. I open up my acc, see that I'm already registered, but there are three people misising for the minimum of 20.

so I go into Cash and see one NL10 table going with 3 people. I tell them to join the tourney, one actually does, another guy joins the tourney (which didnt sat on the cash table) and so were 2 minutes before the start of the tourney, with one guy missing.

Do you actually think one of them would join an 100€ guarantee with 20 players, so 80€ overlay? No.. they just keep playing and say something like "id tournament" but don't join.

Hell this pisses me off, that a rakefree-site, which has overlay all day long won't even get enough players to start a single tourney, but enough freaking scavengers to make a freeroll a 3-4 hour journey...

I'm on betraiser for some months now and I barely see the 1€ Rebuys and only once I saw the Omaha Tourney running. Hey it's overlay, but "noo" we like to gamble ****, calling shoves with 22, but we don't wanna play overlay omaha. boohoo.



I mean, wtf. 1€ Rebuy and 2€ Tourney with never more than 35 Players, ~25 on average. So it's always about an ROI of 100 if you let out the variance. These Tourneys are worth so ****ing much, but so underappreciated.

Let's compare.
We got a 100€ Pool. Let's do that in $, we get 148-150$.

Now with 20-35 people (since this morning it really would be only 20) we get an average EV per player of 2.58 - 5€ or 4.25 - 7.5$
Let's add the rake which a normal site has. So an average 7$ Tourney as a rake of 60 cent, so we could round that whole thing up to 4.25 + 0.40$ and 7.5 + 0.6$ thereby getting us a price of 4.65$ to 8.10$.

So, let's face this. A Tourney filled wish fishes, which costs 3$ in average and has a value up to 8.10$ won't get 20 players to play. How sad is that?

I think there are still millions to be made in poker if people are so dumb not even join/recognize the most obvious +EV moments (for micros, though)

would be kind of nice to be able to make a big deal out of this imo. with a bit of forward planning wrt funds, US players have a rake-free poker room.

Yea, I just meant not making a big deal out of it as far as worrying Betraiser or anything.

To be honest the more I think about it, the more I'm comfortable saying that I think it's completely fine. If BR doesn't have to process any transactions, including never taking an American's deposit, there's no problem here that I can think of at all.

I'll bring it to Skallagrim to see what he thinks, but it seems really cut and dry to me.

Highest table is 0.5/1 and sometimes 1/2

Reading the posts it looks like the site is trustworthy.How is the traffic there?

The traffic is abysmal. But there's a tourney running every 2-4 hours.

US players definitely still able to play here for the forseeable future. If you are new and registering, there is no US option in the drop down list but you can type it in manually afaik.

with regard to getting money on the site: I am now able to transfer small amounts without getting charged 10% on the transaction. there may be others with the same privilege. please no paypal scams. i don't have any transfer history so if someone who does wants to get on board then thats cool. I just want the site to succeed.

In other news, its 2p2ers freeroll day. pm me for the password or i'll have to throw it to the romanian freeroll pros.
