Hey, I can no longer log in to DTB using my usual nickname and password ( same as RTR website, since I joined them trough RTR).

Are the two sites no longer linked after their change in ownership?

I sent an e-mail to their support but I am still waiting for an answer after 3 days.

Hey Mindead

The problem these days is liquidity. You really need to be signed up with 3/4 networks to make sure you can get a game

We would recommend

iPoker
Microgaming
888
&
Party

The 888 and Party VIP programmes arent anything to write home about so your best returns are on iPoker and Microgaming

Our iPOker deals which are based on Old Weighted Contributed rates can be found here and pay up to 82% for new players and then about 55%+ for existing members.

For Microgaming we recommend the following
All offer up to 65% a month including the sign up bonus, rakeback and promotions
Stan James
Heaven
24H

We have exclusive promos with all of those and it adds about 10-15% to the Rakeback and bonuses and promos

Hope that helps

Best wishes

I just read somewhere that ipoker has split its sites into 2 player pools.

Can you tell me what sites are grouped together and what is the main difference between these 2 pools ?

I saw on rakeback.com they offer 60-70% RB on winner poker. Can you match or beat that ? (or tell me why the % they advertise is not true if so)

Winner poker is one of the very few sites that i dont have an account on yet. All the accounts i have are untouched for 5 years. (took a `break`) Is it possible to gain rakeback on sites where i already have an account ? I am thinking mostly about other ipoker clients , unibet and pokerstars.

Thank you

Hey A

The split happened in Sept 2012
I am going to PM you the details so not to take up too much space here.

As for the differences

RB.com are quoting you the new RPV percentages.
RPV is the new method that iPoker use to calculate rake for players. It involves a bit of jiggery pokery, secret sauce and a magic wand to work it out but the long and the short of it is that your actual rake can be as low as 50% of Your old rake.

For example, if you dont deposit and you are a winning player and your rake used to be $100 a month, it will now be close to $50

This means that you would get $30-$35 back on the percentages above (60-70% x $50)

On the RPV system, players have no real idea what their rake/rakeback will be from month to month

We have found that our members prefer to know what they are getting and so we work on the old rake calculation (Weighted Contributed) method.

So we pay 40% of old rake at Winner meaning we pay on the $100 (and not the $50)
So you will get $40 back (instead of $30-$35) in the example above.

You can see all our rakeback rates here

I hope that helps a little. PLease don't hesitate to contact me if you have any other questions

Best wishes

Johnny

Hi i'm trying to sign up to Stars through your system, but there's nowhere to put in 'marketing code' except for where it asks how you heard about Stars. Under that 'marketing code' only has selectable options none of which is raketherake and the only way to type anything in is by clicking 'online forum' and even then it says under the info for that selection that it is only for marketing purposes and no reward is given.

How do i get signed up???

EDIT: Nevermind - it wasn't allowing input but then i tried again and it was

Hi,
I have been trying to narrow down which 1 - 2 online poker sites to sign up for, and would like to get your advice and opinion please....

1. I have plugged in the same stats on 4 different RakeBack sites that offer " RakeBack Calculators " ..... the numbers on 3 of them are close to each other, but one of the websites is showing a drastic difference.
I assume to just use the numbers that are the average of the 3 sites that are similar to each other ?

The stats are.....
1. .25/.50 NL full ring
2. multi-tabling 5 games at a time
3. playing 21 hrs. a week
4. RakeBack of 27%

2. My plan/goal is the following.....

1. Start with a $1,000 Bankroll
2. play either or .... the .25/.50 NL cash games or the .50/$1 NL cash games
3. Multi Table 8 tables at a time ( Not sure if I will do more Full ring vs 6 Max ) games
I may do 6 tables on 6-max and do 8 tables on Full ring games
4. I will look to grind 25 - 30 hrs. a week
5. will assume a RakeBack of 27% ( based off of Black Chip )

I am hoping to earn on a Monthly basis, an average of $2,500 from RakeBack online ,
Is this even possible with my method of playing as stated above ?

RakeBack......
Black Chip Poker's Rakeback and Bonus offer....
To meet their 100% Bonus up to a $1,000 max ...... How many Hands will I need to play each of the 2 months ( since you have 60 days to meet their Bonus requirements ) .... I'd have to play 10,000 hands in 60 days correct ?

Considering my style of play, which 2 Main Poker sites that are available to USA players would you recommend..... Carbon, Black Chip, America's Cardroom, Full Flush , Brovada ?

Thank you so much for the help and taking the time to answer my questions,
I appreciate it - Michael

Hey Michael

Thanks for you post.

Can i start by saying that unfortunately we do not currently support non licensed US rooms. So you won't be able to sign up through us. But i would recommend that you register your details with us anyway so that as and when things change we can let you know.

Based off your stats and using the Stars tables as an average

average Rake on 0.25/0.50 is $0.30

average Rake on 0.50/1.0 is $0.60

75 hands an hour per table - 108 hours a per month -

6 tables of 6 max at 0.25/0.50 would be rake of $2430 and rakeback of $656

8 tables of 9 max at 0.50/$1.0 would be rake of $4320 and rakeback of $1166

I am going to have to dodge your bonus question as i have a flight to catch! But i hope that the above is a start for you

Good luck

Best wishes

Johnny

Thanks.

I'm still a bit confused about what i actually get above what i'd usually get.....obviously i'm presuming i get more than the standard rakeback Stars offers but how do i get this? Do i get higher VPP's? Are my VPP's worth more? Is it made up to more with promotions and freerolls? A bit confused by it all really.

Also how do i tell that i'm actually signed up properly and being tracked?

Hey V

Have just posted you a reply on RTR also

You don't get extra rakeback or VPPs from us.
At a minimum you get the same deal as signing up directly with Stars.
However we also offer a monthly freeroll there (currently $2,000 - usually about 100 entrants or less) for our players. The first month has no qualification (as do some other months). Otherwise it is about 500 VPPs to qualify.

I hope that helps

Hi Johnny,

I will for sure register with RakeTheRake,
Thank you for recommending I do so

I had a question please, on the RakeBack , based on the number of tables you multi-table, as well as the stakes.
Based on the following........

" average Rake on 0.25/0.50 is $0.30

average Rake on 0.50/1.0 is $0.60

75 hands an hour per table - 108 hours a per month -

6 tables of 6 max at 0.25/0.50 would be rake of $2430 and rakeback of $656

8 tables of 9 max at 0.50/$1.0 would be rake of $4320 and rakeback of $1166 "

So is the Math correct, in that.....
I would just double the Rake for the 6 tables of 6 max on the .25/.50 = $656 ( by keeping everything the same ) If I was to move up to the .50/$1 game, would the Rake I earn double?
So it would now be around $1300 per month at these stakes ?

And on the 8 tables of 9 max ..... If I was to drop down to the .25/.50 game, then I'd make roughly Half of the $1166 per month, so..... $583 per month ?

Johnny, thank you again for all of your help

Hey MD no problem.

It's not an exact science with the doubling and halving because 6 max and 9max are different obviously.

But as an estimate it's about right!

Hey Kino - it should say in the T&Cs for each race but just in case
All race payments are made on or before the 15th of the following month.
The only time that might be a day or two late is if there is a weekend in the way or a holiday.
But usually they are all done earlier

Hope that helps

Hi,
I thought Borgata and Party NJ were the same thing although it doesnt appear to be the same on your website. Can I sign up for both sites and get both deposit bonuses? Do they clear at the same rate? What clears quicker for a NL player, Party, Borgata, or 888? Id appreciate anything else you could tell me about your offerings for New Jersey players.
