Venting frustration with this whole Lock Ponzi Scheme. I would like to suggest banning p2p trading of lock poker In the forum. Lock poker has been proven to be nothing more than a Ponzi scheme. Lets take away their ability to get any new players be it by p2p or otherwise. I know members here have big balances as do I but in reality it is worthless anyway. You may get .00000001 cent on the dollar but its just not worth scamming other users. If you trade lock your really keeping the Ponzi alive.

Agreed, while i may not have as much money on lock as some other people, it is not worth allowing these guys to continue to operate and steal money for pennies on the dollar.

I traded a few times since I was getting some crazy good deals in the trading thread and actually made some good cash playing on there, was the softest play of all time probably.

However, Lock has frozen my account for no reason at all and has given me zero responses after months of no e-mails. I was aware something like this might happen, but the fact that we are still giving them rake money isn't right. I really don't believe the mods would ever to agree with this action on here though, unfortunately....But you're aloud to trade is high stakes thread without posting screenames.

And this, ladies and gentleman, is a great demonstration of why sites like AP, UB, and Lock continue(d) to live on long after they should.

Yup, now that AEAB1105 can't play there any more, giving them rake money isn't right.

There are so many multi accounters in that thread it's a joke, you know it and everybody else but you do nothing about it. Just because somebody is a known player doesn't give them a right to trade from their other accounts. The most scamming that has been done on this site are from well known players, what do you have to say about that Mr. Mod ?

Agreed! Let's do everything we can to shut them down once and for all.

Actually, I know pretty much nothing about that thread; I was just clarifying one of the rules of the thread that you hadn't mentioned. TBH, I'd rather that thread didn't exist.

Have you reported any of these multi-accounters you know so much about, or do you just prefer to judge and do nothing?

Kind of like what you are doing about the Lock trading and your previous acceptance of advertising for a scamming site, I will judge and do nothing.

Wow.

First of all, it's far from clear that anything needs to be done about Lock trading. I suppose banning it could have some impact, but it's likely that anyone who buys Lock was already playing there or going to play there anyway. As a matter of fact, trading may stop people from depositing, which would be a good thing.

As for advertising, yes, 2+2 was still working with Lock early last year, when the cashout times were getting quite long. Some people felt we should have ended that relationship earlier, some didn't see a problem with it. Either way, that ended ~a year ago due to the issues there. LOL at you saying even a word about it, though, when you were playing there just a few months ago, and probably still would be today if your account wasn't frozen.

My guess is that you actually have no idea about anyone who is multiaccounting, but felt like tossing that random accusation out there after I criticized you for playing at Lock. At least, I hope that's the case, since the alternative is that you're protecting multiaccounters at the same time as you're criticizing mods for not doing anything about them, which would mean that you're taking shots at mods for something that you're guilty of instead of them.

Bobo, just curious but why would you wish a thread to be nonexistent if you know next to nothing about it?

I'm not sure that anyone trading Lock chips is really helping or hurting the problem. Anyone that buys Lock chips for $.07 knows the risks. It is not adding any fresh cash to the site either. If anything, it prevents people from depositing, though I suppose anyone that reads 2+2 is not depositing on Lock anyway.

Because I think all the trading should take place in the one thread where mods and posters are very vigilant about preventing scams when they can. But I guess the regs of that forum really wanted it there, so the decision was made to allow it.
