The problem:

Fish takes a break and sits out or busts his stack and sits out and the table keeps running for a couple of hands until everybody sits out until the fish reloaded/sits back in.

This happens over and over again particularly at NL100 and partly at NL200. At NL400 regs seem intelligent enough to either keep the table running and see if the fish comes back or just leave.

I personally dont keep the table running but if that happens i get the **** out of that table ffs

There was a time were tablecamping was almost nonexistent when you actually gave people warnings after they got reported 10 times but that seems to have stopped?! At NL100 i could name at least 50 regulars who are doing that any time a fish sits out. (all you guys who are doing this are a ****ing disgrace btw)

And to be honest its not the job of us players to police games. THIS IS YOUR JOB POKERSTARS, THATS WHY WE PAY RAKE TO A CERTAIN DEGREE

Take some of that rake money, get some freelance mods who scan filled tables which are not running and give the regs warnings, after 2 warnings ban them for a week after 5 warnings ban them for a month etc.

Its 2015 and the whole ecology is already terrible so it should neither be in your interest pokerstars, nor in mine that we make aware certain players that they may or may not get targeted.

ps: i know my reputation, i use a seating script, i'm allegedly the biggest bumhunter ever played on stars yadayada but apparently i play by the rules and since noone else has stepped forward so far and made this post i did it. so please keep teh personal insults towards my person in the twitch deadnail thread or just shoot me a pm.

thanks

cliffs:

- stop tablecamping
- employ people who police games and give warnings to offenders
- ban frequent offenders
- ACT

100% agree with OP. The table camping problem at stars is quite incredulous. It's banned as per to TOS but is in almost no way enforced. Not only that but there are barriers to even reporting people for camping. In the last couple of weeks i've sent nearly a dozen emails to stars each reporting up to 2 or 3 campers at a time. To do this I need to screen shot/gyazo the culprits, email it to support, who then forward it to a poker specialist who then send "close to" the same email response back about looking in to it.

Tim's right, there needs to be an easier way to report certain behaviours, have people police the tables and damn well have consequences for those that breach them.

It's fine taking the stance that they're happy with scripts but if that's the case these knock on effects really have to be policed diligently or you may as well have 5 people camping at a 6m table waiting for trout to join. A line should really be drawn and stuck to.

The entire world is a level.

Not that I don't agree with Tim. It's especially embarrassing if you're a FR reg and you sitout when the fish does.

You should have found someone else to make the thread for you though because these comments.....

Agree. I am very much in favour of stars implementing a sit out one sit out all policy.

Thats the next best solution if they refuse to invest some manpower into this

It's an issue no doubt. But I think their resources should be spent elsewhere. There are worse things that occur at cash tables then this.

I thought seating scripts were? That's what I was lead to believe a few months ago. Oh, right, this is the super duper nail in the coffin.

Huge ****ing LOL at a parasite such as Tim making a thread like this.

Care to elaborate on this? Because frankly i dont see anything at cash which is only close as harmful. If they would make camping legal i couldve a software tomoro which does it for me yet i would refuse to use it. Before u start about how scripts are worse and stuff...

Definitely game speed is a bigger issue.

The solution is so simple too, forget monitoring tables, giving warnings and all that crap. You have two options at each table:

1) Exit table on next Big Blind

2) Sit out on all tables next Big Blind

There should simply be no option to sit out and stay at individual tables.

Party poker has a solution which seems to work at small stakes. You can sit out all tables, to take break for instance. If you sit out one table though you have so many seconds to sit back in or you get booted unless that is the only table you have open. If Party can implement this, and they can't find a solution to any other of the many existing problems then Poker stars developers should be able to do it with their eyes closed and both hands tied behind their backs.

So happy I quit poker and got a job. You know things are bad when TimeStone is making these kind of threads GL guys, must be really frustrating that PokerStars/FTP still don't do anything about this type of behaviour.

At nl100 game speed is a bigger problem than people sitting out when fish sits out. That is why u see fish typing zzzzzzzz every session but never see them complain about people sitting out not do they rarely change tables during a session.

Also fish don't like short handed so they probably understand people sitting out when the table starts breaking.

Fish busts. 1 player leaves. 4 others sit out. There are 50 games running. A total non issue.

Yes I stopped playing except for fun a few times a month because it is way too hard for me now. Anyone who still wins at midstakes+ and makes decent money I have respect for.

I hope Pokerstars does something to stop the table camping. It's been out of control for far too long and I sent probably over 100 emails to both Pokerstars and FTP about this with screen shots of offenders when I used to play and saw very little action taken.

When I first saw who started the thread, I thought his 2+2 account must have been hacked, or this was some sort of elaborate level. :/

Since it appears Tim is being genuine here, there's not much to say but I support the viewpoint. Good luck!
