Any people propping? Any people propping?

I've thought about but never bothered propping. I know you have to play at low-volume sites and often shorthanded, and sometimes some annoying T&C etc.

For small stakes players, 100%+ rakeback can be very profitable.

Just wondering if anyone here can share any of their propping experiences and perhaps name some sites they propped/are propping at.

I know there seems to be some secrecy regarding propping, so if you can't/won't name the site - then that's ok.

Ill do some propping.

I wanna give props to all my peoples in NVG, 4life and in BBV. Also special props to my friends in COMP TECH that help me out all the time when I need some comp advice.

I've been propping for more than a year, I won't name sites, as this isn't allowed. My experiences have been mixed, but mostly good. Playing more shorthanded and mostly without PT/HUD (one more thing that comes with playing at small sites) has helped me to improve my game.

My worst propping experience was the bankruptcy of Dynamic Gaming Systems where I lost about $1000. Not detrimental, and I know others that lost a lot more, but you can see that there's risk associated with playing at small unknown sites (but I guess you know that).

Overall I'd recommend propping for small/midstakes players. If you have more specific questions I will try to answer them.

If anyone is propping on Carbon please PM me. I don't think they have props just taking a shot.

1st rule of prop club . there is no prop club
if you do find a place make sure you stock up on plenty of empty plastic bottles . you will have to pee at your computer

I've had an offer to prop at Carbon before. 100 NL or 2/4 dollar limit and up I think is what they want

Can you play LHE or only NL? Also, what stakes do you/can you play and how many handed are your games usually?

Do the sites you prop at allow U.S. players? I'd be highly interested in learning more about this, as I don't mind ****ty game selection for 100%+ rake back.

You can play both though not necessarily at every site. Some sites are specifically looking for limit or SNG props. Stakes range from NL25 and 0.5/1 up to 10/20 limit (that's the highest I have played). Not sure about higher stakes NL action, but I guess there is some as well. But generally the limits are low and mid stakes.

The games start out heads-up most of the time, but they often fill - then you can usually stay, but have to add another table. So you should be comfortable playing from 2- to 6-handed.

There are prop sites that accept U.S. players.
