very strange play going on with the player RoyalSpin

he is relatively new on the cake MTT scene, hes uber aggro, standard but he 4 bets more than anyone on cake so sttod out straight away, i assumed good aggro player and he took down alotta tourneys straight away so obv i noticed him standing out


im not the 1st to notice something about him but anyway if other cake regs see this would love to hear your thoughts

Something very fishy is going on at cake

i can talk about this Royal guy (RoyalSpin.... http://www.sharkscope.com/?username=...n&network=cake) alot but im tired now (this happened about 5 hours ago) but hes always seemed bit off or i paid more attention to him than others (smallish sample size granted...maybe a month of play) but i always assumed he was good aggro player. but this guy never cahses he always either wins or doesnt (side note he went on tto win this tourney...does a tourney binker ever call here?????)...see the hand


Cliffs of hand, FT bubble, he riases KJ UTG, i 3 bet, flatter OTB, he flats (he always 4 bets fold here, never flats) flop Q42 (2 clubs) we both check, button bets small, he 3 bets i 4 betshove, he calls with KJo on Q42 flop....anywho read on

heres email i sent to them earlier tonight...initially the people at support were helpful in their replys until that wanker Walter turned up....im leaving cake over this and i was told sorry "never heard of "stakemepeas" on our site

I'm confused here. Is the gist of this that they better agree that something is funny and maybe they're allowing some players to see the upcoming cards, and if they don't, you're leaving?

There's just something about him I can't put my finger on and looking for others thoughts

You can change your cake name every week, and when you change your name all other players lose notes on them.

I'm aware of that but take notes on all players and when you change name your notes stay with that account

Eh no your notes don't disappear when the player changes their name

I've been a reg on cake for 2 years now and one of my main notes is "this is xxxxx player" and that always stays with that account

you misunderstood me, when YOU change your name you keep notes obv. when other players change there names you lose the notes on them, unless this has changed within the last 2 months.

This change took effect when they started allowing huds I do believe.

See my reply above, no ...I've never changed my name on there and I know players change their name all the time so to counter that I always put a note on people to keep track of who they are , which always stays with them no matter how often they change their name

No problem but as i said I've been doing this for 2 years so I'm not sure what you mean about 2 months ..and just for clarification I've been doing this for the last 2 years (btw I still play on the old cake software and not the updated one as I never liked it)

ya all my notes have stayed on players for the last 3 years even if they change their screen name ... I think it might be for players who created a new account after the date they said that notes would know disappear

is it still sit on 2+2 all day reading and writing posts cause youre broke ?

Most Cake players on 2+2 seem to be cash game players and we all seem to be hear "lol playin on cake" etc

I was just hoping on the off chance to hear from the 30+ regs I play with every day to chime in...there's no doubt this guy is suss and if this thread dies a silent death then since it...I've stood by Cake through all the tough times, losing all our sports bettors , Lee Jones leaving out of frustration but never have I doubted anything about safety until lately...this account has me second guessing myself and that's enough for me to finally jump ship

I don't play on Cakes direct skin (I play on an Irish Skin Brucepoker) but I got in touch with Cake direct as per my email above

I Recieved 5 different emails from Cake support all saying "Bruan we will pass this onto security and you will recive a response that will hopefully satisfy you" or close to these remarks

Then about an hour later I heard from Walter who stated "Sorry we don't have a record of a "stakemepeas" on our database" ...this was strange, then I explained I had an account on the cake network under a skin and he replied Sorry we can't discuss this with you please refer to your skin an they will deal with this matter

Does that even sound right??

So im totally over reacting here?
