Pretty clear case of chip dumping IMO. Typical AP donk comes plays like a typical online donk and loses. Oh wow newsflash!

Seriously the problem probably comes from the fact the other guy put the money on illegally and credit card company wants it's money back. So your probably paying for his crimes.

This is the only reasonable explanation and it is an outrage how poorly AP manages their site.

That has to be it. Because the above hands have absolutely zero evidence of chip dumping in it. Seriously, STOP playing at absolute. I wouldn't play there if it was free.

Why are there so many people being dicks in here?

You can't see what the other player had in all those hands -- maybe he was folding the nuts to you, unknowingly.

I've played at AP off/on for years (never above 1/2, but whatever) and the only problem I've ever had was people calling me all the way down with the absolute most ridiculous garbage, even at 1/2 NL, and hitting. Maybe they knew the board cards in advance, but I somehow doubt that.

Because OP attested to playing online poker for years and lurking on the forums for a long time, but still decided to sign up and give his money to Absolute Poker.

Stop playing on Absolute Poker.

OP - did you by any chance sign up for AP through an affiliate? If so, you should get them involved.

Being dicks? Absolute is stealing money from a person while providing absolutely zero evidence of any infraction of rules. If the other person is folding the nuts (which I highly doubt), then they should provide hand histories showing both hole cards (which they have). None of the hands provided out anywhere near out of ordinary play much less enough to convict someone of chip dumping.

Defending AP, priceless. This is quite possibly the worst post Ive ever seen.

OP said he did not receive the hand histories with all the hole cards. (I might note that he was playing Omaha, which tells me that the persons commenting about "both" hole cards shows they haven't even so much as glanced at the OP)

I'm guessing that the guy was an absolutely horrible Omaha player, had no idea wtf he was doing, and it looked like he was just giving away assloads of money for the stakes.

OP hasn't mentioned any more recent contact with support. Last I knew AP had a phone number that went to support - have you tried that, rather than waiting around for emails?

Hi all,

Good news. I received a phone call from Mark at AP security last night. He informed me that me account had been cleared of any and all wrong doing. He explained to me that the person who lost money to me used a "stolen credit card" to deposit.

He also apologized to me for their poor handling of the situation. He went on to automatically credit my credit card for my remaining account balance (leaving it up to me if I want to redeposit and play on the site again). Finally, he gave me a free entry to Sunday's 75K tournament (a nice gesture).

Overall, I am still frustrated by the way AP handled the situation. Whoever told me that "the ruling is final because I was involved in chip dumping" should really be reprimanded for extremely poor customer service. That said, I am satisfied with the outcome and give credit to Mark from AP security for calling me and getting the situation resolved.

OP has played online poker for years, and just now decides to post on 2+2, under the name newb? Weird, I think this thread is a big level imo

Good to hear your problem got resolved.

Now take this as a cheap lesson, and start playing on a LEGIT site.

LMAO, why would you accuse them of this? Their track record is great!

So, AP's procedure when they find out someone used a stolen credit card is to accuse the people he played against of chip dumping and to confiscate their funds??!! WOW! Does this boggle anyone elses mind?

Absolute Poker may be the most unethical company on the planet.
