Also before proceding to this you can also e-mail operations department about how to contact their superiors and/or any governing body they have. If they refuse to give you any details they are in pretty deep **** and you should include that in the email to the regulator. On a side note - asking for a superior spooks the hell out of employees, especially if they might not be right.

Also contact 888representative here on 2+2, seems like a reasonable man.

You can also contact pacific poker(which is the network) and some legal institutions. Make sure it says "copy sent to xxxx, xxxx, xxxxx, xxxxx" in the email, so they(especially at 888) know it will be reviewed by other people so they cant just go under the radar.
Thanks for this very helpful, and I have contacted 888 rep on here, just awaiting reply

Well, at least you got the dollars back, that's the important thing. I think 888 has the best software out of all the non-criminal sites and from my experience the easiest games.

All poker companies that use automated systems to rootout and flag suspicios activty lack the warth and the human touch and excellent customer service that I deliver! And might I add, they ruin lives.

888s customer support is a complete joke, they randomly blocked my account once for no reason and it took me 2 months of emails to get it back so i could cash out and never play there again.

Is "08/12/2011" a misprint -- if not, why is this whole thing being played out now? ???

Edit/MH: 08/12/2011 means 12/08/2011 in your language.

I'm guessing the chain of events went something like this:
Someone transferred you some money, but their account wasn't debited. You degenned the "phantom cash" away, or tried to withdraw it. 888 decided the only way to solve the problem was to close your account.

Something very similar to this was reported about a week ago. A fault at 888's end led to a player getting free money. Since the player lost most of the money at the tables - or cashed out - 888 ended up out of pocket. Although the mistake was theirs, they won't allow you to profit from it. This is the same policy that banks use in regard to ATMs. If an ATM started pumping out free money, you can't just take it and spend it. You are supposed to report the malfunction. Anyone that doesn't is treated as a criminal, guilty of theft. Hope this helps.

If your experience is what it is... Would you want to be able to play there anyway? Get on Stars, standard better maybe but make VPPs to supernova and ship $$$$s in rakeback shouldn't be too hard at your stakes and be thankful that you (or your friend) lost nothing.

Emm. Not sure why I would be a shill for 888. Speaking of my dealings with them. Havn't played poker there for more than 2 years, but in all my time playing there I never had one issue. They're also held in pretty high regard in most online gaming communities (other than casino affiliates who had complaints over webspam).

I once made a jackpot at an ATM in London. It was giving the double of the money I wanted a registering half the money it gave. I was never charged for the extra money ...

so who cares, go play else where...let your friend deal with the 39.96k balance...

888 is always good at communicating so somethings suss on your end.
there grammar in the emails you wrote seems a bit odd also.

Well im not a prideful person or a "my dick is bigger" or anything, this is all honest. I couldnt eventually get more on, it was a moneybookers issue bc i just had opened it. Believe what u want to believe, this is my experience its all true. I do not trust this site to be safe. Even if the reason is they are idiots and it is not cruel intentions, money is not safe on there if they make such big mistakes so im moving on from this website
