Good Afternoon xxx.

I firstly apologise for the delay in responding to your email.

I have reviewed your account and also your game history. Whilst reviewing your game history I see that you have been participating in the transfer of money on our tables. As previously explained to you, this is when one member intentionally loses to another member so money can be transferred. We are in particular concerned regarding your game play with "xxxx".

Using our tables to transfer money is strictly against our Terms and Conditions and will not be tolerated.

In our Terms and Conditions which you agreed to upon opening your account you declare that the source of funds used by you for gambling on the Site is not illegal and that you will not use the Service in any way as a money transfer system. You will not use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent activity or prohibited transaction (including money laundering) under the laws of any jurisdiction that applies to you (in particular, the laws of Gibraltar).

If there is any reason or any information that you could provide us with to help with this investigation please inform us at you earliest convenience.

Obviously, their stating your SN as your alleged chip-dump friend's account was simply a minor clerical error in their e-mail.

If you post your SN, I am sure that one of our readers here will give their expert opinion on whether or not you were chip-dumping.

Some more details on this would be nice- what games were you playing (PLO/ NLH/ whatever)? What stakes? Heads up/ shorthanded/ full ring? Hand histories? Even if they haven't provided you with the other player's screen name, all you have to do is to work out who it was you won most of the $80 from.

Without further details there aren't really any reasons to doubt 888 at present...

Do you have access to your hand histories?
If the 888 reps haven't already told you the screenname of the chipdumper, then ask them. Look in your hand histories to see the hands you played against them. If you are completely innocent, then the "chipdumper" probably played a really fishy game. It would only require a few hands to be posted for experts to determine if the player was really just awfully bad, or if they were chip-dumping to you. If you're innocent, you have nothing to fear by posting the hands.

Dear sherylee,

I am certain you have made a mistake since I do not know who this player "hahaxyu" is.
I would like to see a copy of the hand history date and time when these hands were played because It is definitely not possible that I intentionally lost hands to anyone on 888poker.
I'm generally a very tight player and fold a majority of hands, and maybe this is what is being interpreted as 'chip transferring'.
If there is anything else I can do to help please let me know and I hope this matter can be resolved at the earliest. Thank you.

Yours sincerely ,

Michael .

I have 3 more emails stating my case to sherylee and francis, and its been over 4 days since i got any response. They havent provided me with any hand history or any kind of proof. When i saw that they did the same to you guys i had to post it up here to let people know how bad the 888poker support is.

I generally like playing on the site, but the support is really horrible and the fact this has happened to a lot of players is a real concern on whether i would want to continue playing on their site anymore.

It has been almost two weeks since they have blocked my account now or without them providing any hand history of the alleged hand/s.

Pretty weird that everyone they're accusing has never posted on 2+2 before and seem to have joined just to complain about wrongful accusations, but none of them have shown anything that goes against what 888 has said.

Good point. And most new users can't find existing threads on the biggest of topics. These latest two have made a bee-line straight to this new thread. It is a bit strange.

The easiest way would probably be to just post the hands where you won/lost a largish pot.

If you've got the hand histories, you can use the 2+2 hand converter (top left of this screen).
Find a couple of hands where you lost pots to the guy you are accused of either dumping to, or collecting from, and post them in this thread.
If you are completely innocent, you have nothing to fear about doing this. A couple of forum trolls might laugh about bad play, but some of the guys here have investigated suspected chip-dumping several times and know what to look for, so will be able to help you.
Depending on the evidence, a mod might ask you to send the actual text files for a whole session.
If 888 is wrong, then 2+2 will find out.

Hi,

I recently deposited US500 to 888 and they blocked my account after 2 days asking me to provide ID, credit card copy and address!

Are this procedure normal? I am not paying by my credit card but a direct bank transfer! there is no reason keep asking me for these personal information are they cheating? and their customer service sucks... everytime I need to wait more than 24 hours to get a **** reply ... not answering my questions, just copy and paste the standard wordings in the email!! I think the name they are using in the email are autogen one.... everything I have a new guy or lady to reply me!!

I am planning to take a legal action report this defraud......Anyone experience this and what action you took?

Newbie

Yes this is normal, I assume you want to withdraw at some time, whats the point in playing otherwise.

Provide what they are asking for, if you cant, then its your fault.

Btw this thread is 2 years old and ther is an official rep and thread for 888 poker on this site
