HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH

program that rewards skill?

WHAT ARE SPIN N GO'S THEN?

every few months you decrease the chances of hitting the jackpot multiplier, you increase rake... and now you added these silly 1M promotions and are giving away millions to fish who made accounts yesterday.

Funniest part is that there are people that will ALWAYS find a way around your rules and still making tons of money playing at your site - and as for you - your GAMBLING company will die in the next 5 years.

You are not poker anymore. You are just a great tragedy now.

Under the new system, there will be no Stellar and milestone rewards and the FPP cash value is reduced by 25% to just $16,800

This is nearly a 50% reduction in value (more if you take into account the lack of Quarterly freeroll) and works out at 22.5% rakeback.

Please correct me if I've missed something.

EDIT: Oh, and the games will probably be much tougher with players filtering down.
this is unknown because they havent released any info about the starscoin earning rate for the various levels

If you don't put in any volume, you lose 0%

And previously, you had to wait until 100k VPP, 200k VPP, etc. which you won't anymore.

But yeah, that number is a bit misleading.

Yes – 2% of players with significant changes includes those players playing high stakes and those who are Supernovas with more than 200,000 yearly VPPs. Of course they generate a lot of volume on the site and that wasn’t the point that was intended. I am merely pointing out that most players are not significantly impacted by these changes.

There are several changes taking place at the same time that monthly status players should evaluate when comparing current rewards to rewards next year. Next year players will earn significantly more StarsCoin than they earn in FPPs now that for most players will make up for the lost value of Stellar rewards and fixed rate of $.01.

For example, a player who starts as BronzeStar and earns 100 VPPs will earn 169 Star Coin as compared to 100 FPPs in current system. A ChromeStar player who earns 500 VPPs will earn 1,490 StarsCoin as compared to 500 FPPs in current system. These are best cases but even the first BronzeStar Step is effectively a multiplier of 1.4 (7 StarsCoin for 5 VPPs).

I am going to post Step values in separate post.

Some answers to questions:
VPP Multipliers will be the same across all licenses in shared liquidity markets. This means that UK, BG, DK, and SH will see an increase in $ VPP multipliers. This is effectively a new policy that we will not charge individual markets for taxes via VIP Club rewards.

Freeroll values have increased for BronzeStar and ChromeStar and decreased for SilverStar. To one poster, we charge FPPs for BronzeStar tournaments otherwise players could play the freerolls forever without having to play real money games.

First-time Supernovas will continue to earn 28%.

Thanks, Matthew

I will post the Supernova Steps tomorrow, but they give 28% rakeback for 100,000 yearly VPPs and up to 30% at 200,000 yearly VPPs (every five Steps gives 30% rakeback at 200K+). Each Step for Supernovas is 1,000 VPPs.

a cursory glance suggests that's not a bad deal for Gold and lower, which is good to see.

Of course it's still a worry that all the better players are going to be heading downwards and making the games harder, but as a lazy lowstakes player who rarely even makes platinum I'm semi encouraged by that list.

Yes, exactly. For some of the regs, moving to other sites will work well, whereas for others, staying with Stars and making use of the softened field will be the best option. The emotional claims about leaving to other sites are mostly not thought out well enough.

Especially for iPoker, it takes time to get used to the peculiarities of the network, and most of those who try it immediately after Stars / FTP get disheartened very fast, especially if they run bad in terms of server-side connection stability.

Since this August, the Edge program gives only up to 20% rakeback, except a boost to 30-40% for certain low traffic offpeak hour games and the very few players at the top of Edge leaderboards (1st places get 50% RB). The other option - Players Club - is even worse in terms of RB%, designed for very low volume players who rake even less than a Chromestar.

HM1 is not compliant with the new software policy. All the focus of the developers is now on HM2-3. I see no downside to using either HM2 or, if you need something that doesn't eat too many computer resources, PT4.

Also, I'm surprised that you're still thinking about SNE. Just stop at the nearest milestone if you're more than halfway through to it. Get yourself a break, it's + life EV.

Lol at the claim that this will make the VIP system more transparent for recreational players.

Mathew, that 1-110 list is giving me a headache!!

Only 16 players this year have made over 50k playing Sit & Gos. This is straight from Sharkscope. Those 16 players include beasts such as Jorj95, V2the3 and Adonis112.

Jorj tops the list with 150k and he plays on average 100,000 sit and gos a year

This is in dollars as well. Hardly, a princly sum!!

With a max of 30% Rakeback these games are now not worthwhile for 99% of players

Wat? I mean I went from 95% to getting SNE to 100% with this announcement. I'm the sole provider for a family of 4 which comes with sick amount of overhead. With so much uncertainty i need to make the certain $ this year so i can have more capital for my investments to provide a better safety net. My family is +life EV and that's who i'm going to thiink of in a situation like this.

Maybe need to respect this 2% ??? if 98% not will feel change for 200.000 vpps yearly+ players. why do this ? only - for have more money in company and less money for this 2% and nothing for 98%. I see only one thing - no respect for clients.
