All sngs and hu are getting more value now. Most 6max too. Some FR too.

Exceptions are those who got way too much before...

The changes were already in effect for HU tables right? If that's the case I got .21 over 10k+ hands for nl50

Can you explain how they are worth more now? Does it have something to do with the stellar rewards?

It will now take me more hands to get to 100,000 VPPs, 200,000VPPs etc.

I do understand I am getting more money for the milestone bonuses.

I am also not disputing that i am getting less this year even though I am getting slightly less VPP/hand.

Before the games that got extra rewards (VPP@ $0.40) were very popular. Now it's linear with rake paid, so move up instead of 24 tabling.

I was very happy with the 1.2 VPP/hand I got at 5/10 FR LHE today vs. 0.9 last year.

Each VPP worths more simply because of three things:

1. Stellar Rewards;

2. New Milestones arrangement with higher bonus value per VPP;

3. New (lower) requirements for reaching certain VIP levels which affects FPP multiplier (higher average multiplier for some players).


In some very rare cases the VPP/hand drop so much that it will be harder to reach a given milestone. But this is not the general case, most players have now a slightly less VPP rate per hand or even slightly higher and will not be visible affect by this.

Anyway, only a complete rakeback equivalent calculation for an expected VPP yearly amount will show if the player is losing or winning value with the 2010 program. A comparation between VPPs (now versus before) is always an incomplete comparation in terms of value because they do not worth the same.

5K hands of 100NL 6max: 0.31 VPPs/h

3'295 hands of FLSH 2$/4$ 1568.72 VPP makes 0.476 VPP/Hand

Seems odd to me (it gives about 2.16BB/100 of rake, what is unusually low for this stake). Maybe your table selection or something...

Played 1,000 hands at 0.50/1 limit 6 max and was getting a fraction over 0.20 which is actually slightly better than when i was playing fr 0.50/1 limit last year where i averaged 0.19. Quite happy about that.

Remember that '10 pays 5.5 vpps per dollar rake and I assumed the table were always filled with 6 players.

Does limit generally get more vpp than nl?

I haven't been keeping track of my vpp/hand but it seems to be going up a lot slower than last year.

3000 hands of plo50 six max: 0.408 vpp per hand

2000 hands of PLO50 6max: 0.444

1k hands of 100nl fr .25vpp/h

I just played a short 908 hand session, and I got .895 vpp/hand at 3/6 6max SH... i've had my vpp/hand fluctuate between .7 and .8 before so I probably need a bit more hands for this to be conclusive, but its a good sign.

37 VPP/100 for NL100 FR over 3500 hands.

2/4 plo: 1.19 VPP/hand (1.7k hands)
10/20 limit hold'em: 1.67 VPP/hand (376 hands)

That seems really high. I am at .42 for 200NL. Maybe my average will go up!
