Fact 1: These used to be the fishiest sngs imo

Fact 2: It's simple, almost every time I check the lobby it's filled with regs (8+ per sng)

Fact 3: Peace

have you stopped playing them because of this?

No, i've just been lazy...recently moved up to 27s/38s/60s sometimes they are softer there. Depends on the time of day, you might say there are at the very least 6 winning regs at the $16s for a few hours at a time or just 1-2 regs at other times

That said, a lot of the regs suck. So maybe their 0-5% ROIs will drive them out eventually (when they start maintaining them...the ones that enjoy the reg gangbangs will have too see this as a reality soon)

I remember listening to an interview with Spacegravy about High Stakes SnGs and how they are becoming just plain unprofitable post rakeback for some regs, they will have to move on if they lose money

every type of sng in 2010 at stars is dying, only hu pwners and 180man grinders are in good shape

people are just stupid, as an example in 9mans i sometimes see 9 winning players in sng, cant those idiots check out the lobby before starting their session? How can they consider themselves REGS if they join -EV games on daily basis. pffffffffffffff

Well I guess I avg. more per game in $16 than in $6.5 even tho $16 is a regfest but maybe it wouldn't be so dumb to switch to $12 45s and 180s instead.

16s (and all 18 mans) are still profitable. most of the regs suck anyway, but like clown said, even a sucky reg hurts your roi.

that being said yes, i've seen 16s that pop with 10+ winning players in it. fortunately they pop so fast that within a few minutes most of the regs have enough tables. wish that was true for midstakes

Most of the regs suck, I'm not sure about that. Of course some of them do suck, but most of the regs make mistakes, that's a reality, I have never seen a top reg I've been playing a lot against not make at least one big mistake. Or maybe I just suck so much that I can't even tell the difference !

Still, the games are profitable for the best regs, but a lot of weaker regs should probably play less tables/lower stakes/different types of games, that's for sure. A lot of people just play higher stakes/more tables until they reach a point where their hourly diminishes, and never come back to where they made more $$$, question of ego i suppose...

Feel like the rois of all the top regs are declining because of this. I think I should learn a different game just too lazy at this point....just want my paycheck. We'll see what happens...i used to run at like 1.20$ a game in the 6s

Think we lost powelljam and milesaway and gained like 10-15 pros :\

Yeah I don't like this at all. Sometimes I'm ready to open up some tables but totally bail when I see 8-10 solid regs in the lobby. I'd rather not play than play with a bunch of regs.
$1.20 a game in the 6s is pretty sick imo and I doubt it's sustainable? But I'm considering to give the 6s a try again if the 16s regs won't calm down

These things have been dead for like a year. They were straight gold mines back in the day though.

Also I think everyone just grossly overestimates how good they really are and how "bad" every other reg is.

you could also consider a form of big-bet poker where you're more than 12 bb deep most of the time, such as full ring cash, 6max cash, HU cash, omaha, PLO8, deep-stack MTTs, HU non-turbo SNGs, etc etc. Just a thought.
