Tell him he can fold but the zero dollars have to stay in the pot, obviously.

BTW this is led me to finally ask about this rule. I opened to $15 from seat 6 and the dealer (who would ordinarily have announced a raise in this game) was engrossed in conversation and had no idea what was going on until seat 1's three $1 chips were out. I've always felt like this rule was an abomination anyway.

As it happened I won the small pot and tossed seat 1 back his $3. I tipped the dealer $1 at the same time I mentioned that I'd appreciate him running his game in the future. Usually I give feedback away from the table but I felt like this was a bit different because it was already pretty clear what had happened.

Actually, I want all of my opponents to be distracted, day dreaming, watching TV, checking out waitresses etc.

The less focused your opponents are the better.

Yeah, yeah, it slows down the game. By a WHOPPING one hand an hour at the most. Big deal.
