Rules for what constitute significant action vary but in ops case it's pretty clear there was significant action.

Agreed. Table was 8 or 9 handed (10 stacks, 7 and/ or 8 seats out). It did happen quickly BB in 3, folds to me in 6 (I fold) either 9 or 10 seat open limped, 1 seat (button) limps sb folds. BB your option, where is my card...

Quick look around, but dealer seems to acknowledge oops. Floor called.

Significant action with so many acting was never questioned, but the action did go around in just a couple of seconds so if you didnt grab your cards as they were pitched, there wasnt much time to 'protect' your action even acting last on the BB

Lots of folks are doing what ifs, but in this case, no angles, no shennanigans, just a missed deal (literally) though not a misdeal.

if the card was folded that it is definitely dead hand and action stays, no questions there, I am just saying if dealer dealt 1 card to the BB, I think in our room it would be a dead hand. I will double check tomorrow and will post on here

To my surprise my poker room floor also told me they will just rule the hand dead and will not refund the bb to the player.

What a surprise, they would rule it like literally every other person in this thread has said it should be ruled.
