Tonight starts ESPN's coverage of the World Series of Poker, tonight they start with Event #1, $10,000 Pot Limit Holdem at 8pm ET. Here's the final table at the start of play:

Seat 1: Mike Sowers 675,000
Seat 2: Chris Bell 455,000
Seat 3: Amit Makhija 525,000
Seat 4: Patrik Antonius 230,000
Seat 5: Andy Bloch 2,115,000
Seat 6: Mike Sexton 1,130,000
Seat 7: Phil Laak 425,000
Seat 8: Nenad Medic 1,200,000
Seat 9: Kathy Liebert 285,000

Looking at the schedule, each tournament they cover (except the Main Event of course) will be done as two 1-hour shows, although it's possible they may throw in some winners of other tournaments as events warrant.

Can't wait for this. I'm interested to see how PL HE is played, I have never seen it played before.

EDIT: What time does it start? 9EST like last year?

It shouldn't play substantially different than no-limit hold'em.

They key difference is, of course, the lack of an all-in option. So, you can't move in all your chips to move people off draws or foce coin flip situations.

I think the difference that really matters is that pre-flop raises will be smaller. We'll see some 4x pre-flop raises and 16x reraises but no all-in AJ vs. 77 (unless they have small stacks).
