Confusing and annoying imo.

Poker After Dark shows the person's last name just underneath the display of their hole cards. The main camera will show them at the table making their play. either folding, or throwing in chips, and the hole cards immedtiately adjust, either disappearing in the case of a fold, or the dollar amount changing if they stay in, or changing to 'check' if they check.

In the case of durrrr, none of the cards would say durrrr, and they kept calling him Tom Dwan at other times. They would alternate between the two names EACH AND EVERY TIME they would refer to him and it was maddening. It's amazing how people can make it to such advanced positions in life and not notice those things. First, the announcer does it. Then the director doesn't catch it while the program is being taped. Then, the producer doesn't notice it when they watch the final result of their investment on TV. Everyone misses it. NO ONE...NOT ONE PERSON says, "hey, ya think maybe this might confuse some of our viewers?" And if someone does have a light go off in their heads, it's probably the bar maid, camera man, or some other grunt who is overqualified and underpaid, but has a talent for noticing things and paying attention detail. Then their ideas are rejected just cause the announcer/director/producer didn't think of it and their pride is too big to say "yeah, that's a good idea, I didn't think of that!" when fact is, maybe they should trade jobs.

I don't know why anyone would make a banana part of a hat anyway. That itself is crazy. "A cornucopia for the head."

Maybe it's in case the person gets hungry and needs energy. Like Tiger Woods.

OP how many non poker players are watching poker at 3AM? Not many Im sure and even my wife knows that they are the same person. (She cant stand him) Maybe because of the whole Eye brow things and she has really nice eye brows herself.

I think it's very plausible for a poker player, or someone who wants to learn or just enjoys watching the drama, to watch the show without knowing the online screen names of any player. I've been watching PAD since it started, and I know that more players on that show play on Full Tilt than any other web site, and I know which ones play somewhere else and where, but I don't know, after all this time, the online screen name of ANY of them. I'd have no reason to know. I haven't played on those sites, and even if I had, I wouldn't be in the games they are playing in, and even if I were, I wouldn't know from the screen name who was behind them. The only way I'd know is if the web site had some sort of promo page that lists all the pros and the names they use. Still, I'd never cross their paths online. And likely wouldn't memorize the list or look at it twice.
