Heading to Anaheim from Thursday through Sunday and was wondering if someone could tell me where the best place(s) is to play some 1/2 - 2/5 and some tournaments. Thanks.

Commerce is about 20-30 mins north. They have good action at all levels, but they have short capped buy-ins.

For example: 1/2 = 40 buy-in
2/3 = 100 buy-in
2/5 = 200 buy-in

There is no poker in "The OC". But games are close, distance from Amtrak Station/Angels Stadium.

Hawaiian Gardens, 15 miles west
Commerce, 21 miles north
Lake Elsinore Hotel, 48 miles east
Ocean's 11, Oceanside, 55 miles south

You should be able to find a game going at these card rooms, LOL. And there are a "few" others around... Google is your friend.

At commerce the lowest 100 bb game is 5/10 500-1500 buy-in.

At the bike (about 10 mins from commerce) they have a 2/3 100(?)-300 buy-in game.

From Anaheim the Bike is about the same distance as Commerce. Hawaiian Gardens is closest. Hustler is a bit farther but worth checking out. Use Google for addresses and Google maps for directions (and www.sigalert.com for traffic)

In LA low blind games don't forget that pot odds aren't what they seem.

Cool map. Accurate for LA County except for the marker in blue just north of the Bike (that's were the old Bell Club used to be). Even had the little known Club Caribbe.

BTW, in the linked thread there is one post's advice you don't want to follow. PM me for a hint.
