I wonder what would have happened if say Jamie hit the king on the turn or the river. You can tell Jamie did not want Sammy to bet because he knew Sammy had the Aces. Jamie had the Kings by the way to anyone who forgo the hand. Every point of the hand he wanted Sammy to check it down and Sammy said he had to bet to protect his hand.

Assuming the king came on the turn, how would you guys think the hand would have ended? Do you think Jamie would check it even though he has the nuts to Sammy?

Sammy didn't bet at the river just because he didn't want to hurt Jamie and even told Jamie that he was a friend and thats what he did not bet. Anyone think Jamie would have been friendly on the flop turn or river if he did hit the king? We can tell before the flop came that Jamie knew Sammy had AA because of the checkraise dark.

Sammy didn't bet the river because Jamie spooked him by saying to the effect of "I gave you an opportunity, I'm sorry..." as if to say he had a boat or something and was being friendly to him. As soon as Gold said that Farha's demeanor slightly changed and then he asked "What do you want me to do? Check?" and didn't bet the river. Then when the two hands went to showdown Farha acted like he didn't bet the river because they're friends or whatever. I call BS on that.

Live players love to check behind on the river if they have any question about whether one-pair is still any good. If Jamie Gold has any unique poker skill at all, it's creating uncertainty for his opponents. It seemed like Sammy had a pretty good idea that Jamie held the KK, but Jamie had thrown up such a smokescreen that he wasn't sure enough to bet the river.
