PartyPoker.net paid ESPN, Inc. for 60 hours of TV time so that PartyPoker.net can empty its video vault to advertise the PartyPoker brand.
ESPN, Inc. took the check from PartyGaming PLC, made sure that the check cashed, and aired the 60 hours of PartyPoker.net programming.
The only expense for ESPN, Inc. was to have two announcers do the Spanish-language voiceover from Bristol, Connecticut, USA for 3 of the 5 ESPN Latin America video feeds (Mexico, North, and South).
ESPN's Brazilian joint venture partner, Globosat, hires Brazilian voiceover announcers based in Sao Paulo, Brazil for ESPN Latin America's Brazil feed.
(If I recall correctly, ESPN Israel has Hebrew voiceover done from a studio in Tel Aviv.)
