Update on Michigan Charity Poker

In the aftermath of massive rule changes and regulations charity poker is not what it once was in Michigan. However, it still exists and I have even heard of some new rooms that are adaping to the rules well. I have also heard rumors of possibly moving to 2 charities but only one at a time. So when a new charity shows up you would have to cash out with the old charity and then wait and buy back in with the new one. Just a pain in the ass obv.
I would love to hear feedback about the current state of charity games in the metro area. What games are running? Whats the action like? Straddles, player type, time when games start etc.
I heard of a one called Bowl 300 in waterford that looks good. But they also run tournements and have BJ and I don't know how they dont burn through 15k in chips in a matter of hours. When do the cash games start?
Any other information on Metro Detroit charity rooms would be helpful.
I live close to Big Beaver Tavern. Has been a great room for years but they open at noon, have 2 or 3 tables and are usually sold out by 6 or 7 pm and the game breaks a few hours later. I would like something that is still running strong in the evening too. I wish they would just start at 5pm or something.
Also what has everyone heard about these potential rule changes?
