-soft/passive games
-easy money
-occasional hot girls
-hot cocktail waitress
-most friendly dealers
-tourists with 100 Franklins in their pockets
-regulars who think they are better than online players
-TV w/ sports and poker shows

Don't like :higher rake and dealer tip, less amount of hands /hr but the bigger stack and softer game/opponents can compensate for that.

What do I love....

Making money first and foremost
Raking in a huge pot
The look on someone's face after I just outplayed them for their entire stack
And I just flat enjoy playing this game live. It's nice having a hobby that pays more than my job does.

showing one card when all in
running it twice
better ability to read players
physical chips/cards
hot bartenders
food comps
people who think they are good but are kinda terrible
raking in a huge pot
having the floor people know your name
the "casino atmosphere"

6. Something about walking around with a stack of hundreds feels pretty good
Until you lose said stack of (eight) hundreds somewhere between the cage at Mirage and exiting the Love show a couple hours later. Sorry, I digressed.

In general the thing I like best is that I'm self sustaining on poker trips. (Like someone else said, most people have hobbies that COST money.) Win enough to cover airfare and hotel, free buffet comps which I completely dig, and still have some profit cash when I get back home.

Old stud players at the Holdem tables who think the game is all luck and aren't afraid to teach you. "Now STUD, that's a thinking man's game!" As they proceed to play some of the worst Holdem you can imagine. But hey, it's all luck old dude! Bad break on that hand my friend. And that one too. And yeah, that other hand was unlucky too, that sux.

1) Listening to what other people believe to be true.
2) Spreading lies, and hoping other people believe me.
3) Chips, tidal waves of blue chips (4/8 @ Commerce)
4) Football, roast duck wonton soup and poker all at the same time. (Hawaiian Gardens)
5) The 2am Parade of the Drunken Hotties (as Studio 54 closes @ MGM)
6) taking $ from a guy reading HEFAP at my table.
7) Busting maniacs.
8) Chewing out the "setup" people.
9) Table shares.
10) Just being able to win @ LLHE.

Going to play any form of Stud with these same people, and discovering that they suck just as badly as they do at holdem.

I mean, come on, how often will you see someone in Stud/8 call 4 bets cold on 3rd street with AK7 rainbow (at least the Ace was his door card) and proceed to catch perfect-perfect-perfect-perfect for a wheel? I don't even think that has ever happened online.

atmosphere and people. I also appreciate the fact that I can actually compete as opposed to getting my ass handed to me frequently online-LOL. I enjoy little "bad structure" MTT's live prior to several hours of NL. Compared to online games people actually are easy to tolerate-mostly. If not for local live play I would have quit before I ever had any success. Of course, without online play (self abuse)I would never have had success at the live tables as quickly. Long live live poker!

Not having to hide my true Degen nature.

Being able to beat 10/20NL better than 1/2NL online (10x multiplier LOLROFLBBQNASANAACP)

People who suck at poker worse than I do. Suckitude is relative.

Insta-propping/flop color props.

Collecting huge pots and making huge stacks of chips.
Actually seeing players and getting many tells and a sense for the strength of their hand.
But mostly...
Way more Donks with absolutely no clue playing live than online.
