I'll be in AC soon, and would like to play in this game. Anyone know if it's a 1/2 or full kill game? And what are the requirements for a kill pot? Also, any additional info about this particular game will much appreciated!

Silly question, but I must ask: say you have a situation where it's 2 players at showdown and one player wins both the low and the high, and the other player just wins the low. Would that qualify for a kill pot?

75 seems low are u sure, that is 7.5BB almost any scooped pot will be that big.

2 is the sb, 5 is the bb
5 and 10 are the small b et and big bet

I can't imagine the players have changed much since I last played.

I'm in the 10 seat. In the 7 is a tight young kid who is trying to play well. He is getting killed. After a couple hours he leaves. A while later a lady on the other end of the table notices he has left and comments, "I don't know why he was here, he never played!"

I've played in this game many times. The replies so far as structure are accurate. The game can be good or lousy depending on timing. Generally solid play rules. I've rarely played games that were capped preflop 5 ways every hand. Rarely. Reminded me of California though very little O8 there. No significant collusion if any. When they check call, check call they have it, they just don't bet it in this game. Good luck, can be fun.

Since this is a full kill game, do you think a $2K BR will be sufficient for this game, assuming I play solid ABC poker?

I've played a lot of O8 games from 2/4 up 40/80...this is by far one of the most beatable games in the country...it is the same game (structure/limits/etc) as the mirage 5/10 in LV

u want some crazy excitement, few weeks back i played 2/4 PLO8 at taj sat down with $700 left the table with $3350, people would call my pot bets with 2nd lo's it was really bad and really spewey

if you want exact time, it was october 20th at 6am lol. It started 3 handed and then I found 2 other players and it eventually got to full ring and we played ~10am

I haven't logged in a decent amount of time in that game, but it's makeup is similar to the Taj 5/10 stud games. Mostly older, retired, white males who play the same game almost every day. On Fri. nights/Saturdays I've seen a second table with people under the age of 55 playing. You'll probably want to get into that game, and not the main game.
