Love Florida and Vegas but hate the summer weather, plus summer isn't busy season for either venue.

Suppose you were a "poker snowbird," wintering in Fla, Vegas, SC.... where would you go in the summer? Borg/Parx? Bay area? Denver?

I'd Borg/Parx in the summer. You can still get free rooms from what I understand during the week at the Borg and plenty of cheap places to stay on the weekend away from the shore.

I would rotate between Borg, Fox/sun and Playground~Montreal. There's plenty to hit in between, for some series, etc. Turning Stone, Parx, etc.

West Coast has no comparison- LA room are their own entities geared to maximize their rake and net. I do enjoy the Bike, Commerce and H.Gardens, but those places can wear on you.

Thats kind of what I was thinking. Lord knows I love the west but not much money on the tables in Albuquerque at least, and Denver has those weird betting rules...

Man if I can just get my kid through college, I can go part-time/prn and do pretty much whatever I want... fire up the BRT* and go...

@Dave: cool idea: the "poker tour!" Did LA-Vegas-Abq-OK trip last fall. Cool thing about the RV is you can camp for free at the Indian casino's. Possibly not a great idea in AC, though... Unless I could rig up some kind of turret...

The East Coast is as muggy as **** in the summer. Seattle has a decent live poker scene.

Interesting. Daughter could conceivably wind up there, she wants to be a game programmer, plans to be an expert in in-game physics
