Ruling question: player misses raise, tables, then turns hand back face down Ruling question: player misses raise, tables, then turns hand back face down

I play in a room with a hard betting line, but it is not also a "fold" line. A fold is defined as releasing your cards face down in a forward motion. You cant fold face up. If you try the dealer must clarify your action by getting a verbal fold before mucking the cards.

This room also does not allow exposing cards during play, even heads up. Many players still do it as they comefrom rooms that allow it. But the hand is never killed for that. The player is just given a warning.

So where I play the villians hand would still be live.

The spirit of the rules should be, you can correct a mistake until you can't correct a mistake. Cards aren't in the muck, should be live, if the player wants the back and there's not ensuing action, imo.
