I'm gonna be in NY for January and I'd like to play a few donkaments and possibly some low level cash games.
Can anyone recommend some casinos to check out?
I'll be staying in upper-east manhattan.

New York City does not have casinos. I am sure there are a lot of underground rooms, of which I am not aware. I would think they might be difficult for an outsider to gain entry to without knowing a regular. Then again I have never been to NYC so I really don't know what it takes to gain entry or where they are.

AC, Foxwoods, and MS I guess would be the closest casinos. Although since I am in the south I do not know which would be closer or easier to get to.

Atlantic City would generally be easier but that is more to do with my hatred of 95 north of the GWB

Borgata is your best bet for tourneys, especially since they are running their Winter poker open in January. Can find low level cash games in any casino.

If those buy-ins are too steep Showboat has good lower buy-in tourneys.
