Optimism for AC...? Optimism for AC...?

Played at Caesars AC today and one of the dealers (I forgot which cuz i'm not a reg there) made an observation:

"Wow, I've had few break today, a lot of tables going. It's nice to see Caesars running the way it used to on a Saturday."

Maybe it was people testing out the new ACE Train, but for whatever reason, IMO AC seemed to be more crowded this weekend than it has been for quite a while. Was it just a random Saturday or should I be optimistic about things to come?

I play at caesars and on most Saturdays the poker room is almost full, its the other days that the traffic seems to be really low. I was there two weeks ago on a Wed. and there were only 4-6 tables running through out the day.

Played a 14+ hr. session at Borg yesterday (Saturday). It was as busy as I've seen it, with all but 3 or 4 tables running from noon through 2am.

I noticed this too on Saturday, but was thinking the BBJ might be helping the player count.

I dunno. I've not noticed much of a slowdown at the Borg at all. There's the usual offseason lulls, but whatever. I was talking to a floor supervisor about it, and he said that their numbers were good.

Maybe the slowdown is effecting other rooms more, and consolidating the action at the Borg?

I agree. I don't see the weekdays there much, but Fri and especially Sat nights usually have few, if any, empty tables. And people know that at the Borg, you can find any typical game you want, while some of the other rooms may not have certain limits going all the time, or only one table going (like 2/5nl games or 5/10+ limit)
