What do you do in that spot OOP with KJ? Just call? Play a pot out of position? And then just check-fold when you don't flop a pair?

How do you justify that? What do you think is Doyle's opening range there?

Ah yeah. There is no shame in folding on the flop. Live to fight another day.

"Nah not me. Everytime I get KJo in the small blind I go all-in. I mean no need to factor in the old man raising has been playing pretty tight solid poker and don't even bother to study him for strength tells/mannerisms nah I just go all-in every time and donk off my money. It's a no brainer cuz the push chart told me to do it."

pretty sure any $11 SNG winner is better than you at tournaments if your posts in this thread reflect your actual feelings about the hand.

If your button opening range 4 handed with 25 BB is so small that folding KJ in the SB is the correct play then you must be so tight that only dogs can hear you fart.

I still want to hear what you think Doyle's opening range is there.

Even if Doyle had Ace rag or small pocket pair Dwan was the underdog. Why put all your chips at risk in that situation? I think he should have waited for a better spot.

I can see the argument for just calling but folding? Really?

Doyle would fold and Dwan would scoop the pot...

Unless I have a read telling me otherwise, I fold KJ in that spot all day long. But admittedly playing with the sng nits on pokerstars clouds my judgement sometimes....

If Doyle has AA KK QQ JJ AK AJ KQ you are dominated, so yes i think you fold there.

Anyone else wonder why Townsend lied about getting a college scholarship to play chess? He told another lie too sometimes during the broadcast in an attempt to impress the other players... weird.

Instead a great live player like myself would re-raise to 9k to "find out where I'm at" and then fold to a shove by Doyle having found out that he has Aces.

This aint your regular online $11 donkament. Unless he has the nuts he can ALWAYS find a 'better spot'. Looking at it like that without considering Doyle's opening range and your push EV / fold equity is not going to work.

Lol at the directors cut.

Johnny: "They know how we play but we don't know how they play, so they have big advantage."

I really doubt any of the online players know much about their games. Watching them play a few out of context hands with shallow stacks in a donkament or something doesn't give hardly any info away on how they play.
